No, there have been far worse (less likeable) HM's than Hazel. Grace, Bea, Carole, Charley and Alexandra were all much worse than Hazel, imo.

Hazel just made the mistake of pursuing another woman's boyfriend quite fervently and unapologetically and that's what most people dislike her for I think.

Plenty of hms that weren't great (and imo worst than Hazel).

Connor from recent history, Luke Marsden (on his own and with Becky)' Charlie (from the Ziggy year), Bea, also couldn't stand Aaron ( from the Connor year), wasn't a fan of Jason (the year Nadia won) but victor was a great comedy villain. I think even Makosi was much worse than Hazel, because she was an un-comical compulsive liar and even thought Anthony had procreated with her in a swimming pool (so daft as well, and ott on top)! That year Maxwell and his possy weren't likeable (apart from maybe Anthony who wasn't on their level).
