Maybe not Joe. I'm not closed to counter arguments and you've made a good point. I just assumed that BB didn't want to be accused by fans of 'been there, done that' had they done the exact same thing again.

With vote to evict you are going to get more negative coverage of the housemates and less of the fun side.

Though the letters from home were complete shite and took up far too much of the show.

Dexter and Gina were allowed to watch the house on camera, which, besides giving them a focal point for the viewers to watch, also gave them ammo - ammo which Gina's still using today. They were also immune from eviction that week.

Sam, Sophie, and Dan, on the other hand, had no opportunity to watch other HMs, and, instead of being immune from eviction, were automatically put up for eviction!

It would have been nonsensical and pointless had Dan/Sophie/Sam been allowed to watch HMs because they would have known about it from the get go.

Gina and Dexter were voted out in a fake eviction. We chose them to go into the safe house. We didn't choose Dan Sam or Sophie to go in there. It would have been boring if every pair of housemates in the safehouse were immune every week and it needed this twist.

Just to say because we're on a new page now, this thread is NOT about last night's (Sunday's show). It was started days ago.

It wasn't BB but the public who voted for Gina and Dexter to go into the secret house.
Sam, Dan and Sophie were voted in by the HMs. They could have chosen anyone but they chose those three.

If you wanted that shown, then they would have to show straight after the "Peace Maker Scene"
As soon as Hazel left to go to bed Gina was stirring it & adding fuel to the fire, telling Charlie she was in the right and to stand her ground & bitching about Hazel AGAIN.

No she wasn't bitching about Hazel. What exactly did she say that was bitchy about Hazel? I bet you've got no answer to that.

If you want to talk about fairness it hardly does your cause any good to justify the different treatment one pair got the another by saying that the public voted one lot in, and that it would've been boring/wouldn't have worked had Sam and Sophie got the same watching privileges. Ultimately, Dexter and Gina got a much better deal out of the safe house than Sam and Sophie did. Is that agreed or not?

Even down to the meals. I do believe Sam and Sophie got a Spaghetti Bolognese or Carbonara, which looked like a micro. meal for their treat!

Were there not 26 questions in the poll? And about 10 of those were shown?

Yes, true. How boring it was two years ago with Aaron's fans scouring the clips and tweets for possible material that did not get shown on the highlights show, then having a tantrum a day about it. Last year I was sorry that none of the conversations between the outsiders were ever shown when they were mentioned in BB tweets and sounded interesting, but I didn't make a big fuss about it. I do understand that BB have a show to make, and that editing is a big part of it.

Gina? What about Sam? They have unfairly edited him out since the start. When they did feature him in one small slot last night, they completely edited out his joke.

So if we are talking about fairness, let's start with the worse cases before we get to Gina missing for a few nights.

Yep. I find it incredulous (though not surprising) to see people complaining about Gina getting a poor deal from BB when she's had a better deal from them than probably anyone in there. Do people think she's the big favourite because of the bad edits BB have been giving her?

Yes, she was nowhere in the betting in week 1. Whatever coverage she has been getting has boosted her to favouritism. Sam & Sophie have been edited to oblivion. I've no idea if they would be worthy winners - I certainly wouldn't be voting for them on the evidence so far presented; they would be bottom of the pile.

Who else seemed to be left out to your knowledge?

And if others were left out too, my question would still stand.

Exactly. People need to stop this paranoia.

I am a gina fan and although gina has had a lot of time on the screen if you look back many of her best bits was bb trying to get her to get good tv and I dont think bb counted on her reaction being positive. She was expected to throw a strop a few times and endeared her self by taking things on the chin. I think bb tried pushing her butrons but did not know how she would react.
Finally they have found a box to fit her in, hence the continued few mins a night of gina on hl.
I think gina should let the hazel thing go but I aslo think bb finally have her portrayed the way they want her.
She needs to now back away as bb will alwaysget what they want. Just depends Iif he fans of bb see past it.

And btw.. I love Sam and sophie so would be happy if they win and I was a dan fan.The others I dont care for much.
Its a game and I think bb always win aginst the hm but maybe not always against us fans if the fanbase is strong enough.

Omissions: there was her extremely funny quip to Dexter a few nights ago about him not bringing his 'game' into the House after he bragged that he can get any girl (something I actually told people to watch the highlights show for because it was a Classic one-liner). Then there was her song the next night. And last night there was a lengthy conversation with Sam, during-which he told Gina that she was the only housemate who lets him speak or actually perseveres in listening to him.

Okay, the latter was arguably Sam playing the sympathy card for the second night in a row, but even so, why was none of that shown?

I'm totally bemused now.”

Gina is the runaway favourite this year and BB heavily featured her in the highlights for weeks. Endemol need more than a one-horse race for financial reasons. In BB7, the same thing happened with Pete. There were days when he was sidelined on the highlights show, but having seen the live feed I knew he had been more active. However, the producers of the show are not going to create fair highlights shows. That's why Sam + Sophie were ignored for weeks.
