Suppose we will find out soon enough the lucky lady that's been paired with him.
No disrespect meant to any celeb, but would say he doesn't 'deserve' another complete beginner two years in a row. Hopefully, if they aren't from a musical or dance background then a performing one would be good.
Yes people could argue (and some would) that he shouldn't get another young one, fair enough their opinion, but being young doesn't always mean they will be the better dancers, though this year could be an exception going on who's taking part.
He was paired with an older lady (Elaine) late last year and they got along well and sure I read that in the U.S. he danced with some older ladies too and they only had good things to say about him.
Off topic, but only right the two new boys get a potential contender and OK Anton is long overdue, but cannot see that happening. I wonder if it ever bothers him seeing others get the ones who have or seem to have a fair amount of ability, year in year out, but maybe he's just happy to still be there. As for the others, they were in the final last year, but who knows what TPTB will decide. I would like Iveta to be in with a real chance this year and also Natalie again.

Im not comparing but look at Derek Hough in the US version, he has good ppl like every year IMO, so i really do hope Pasha get someone better then Rachel IMO

I agree about the Pasherley partnership LNS, one of the best in the history of SCD I think. Whatever happens, I wish Pasha and his celeb all the best and hopefully he will have plenty of appearances in the pro routines.

it's the Red Carpet Press evening tonight, then the launch show with pairings is recorded tomorrow night and shown on TV Sunday.
Tonights press event is shown on the BBC red button tomorrow from 7.25 on a loop for over 7 hours.
