See Pasha has been dragged into another thread on the MF, (now listing previous partners, yet conveniently not listing another pro who was also mentioned and their celebs who have all been young and either had some ability or been contenders and I do like this pro. However, needs an older partner and someone with no ability before long.)
Don't always agree with JJ, but think he's hit the nail on the head with TPTB wanting a certain pro/pros (don't really see it with the other two mind) to win. Why does it really matter to them who wins? Why always give same pro contenders or ones with ability, why not challenge them?
Don't think it's got much to do with height being a factor as look at some of the pairings over the years. (Not the place to post this I know and shouldn't rise to it, but won't go onto the MF. Has to be said some posters are fair in their comments, whereas others... As for personal comments about someone's looks, build or specific features, that's too much.)
Some people were so quick to say Pasha needed someone with no ability - putting it more politely here - yet when it's someone they like it's a different story, though I'm glad there are a few speaking up about the favouritism that is ongoing. Just be fair to them all BBC and yes, he has had some really good celebs/contenders, but am sure Pasha is happy with whomever he gets. From what I've read, he's still in touch with them, maybe not Chelsee as much, but he had nothing but good things to say about her in his latest tour programme I think it was.
The pro dances will be interesting to see where everyone is placed. Would hope the new dancers get a chance to shine.
Anyway, some good pairings this year. Looking forward to seeing Pasha and one or two others back on TV. Will also be good to see the new dancers and don't mind in the least whether they're Brits or foreign pros either. All will bring something to Strictly.

Hi to everyone...........hope you are all well.....lovely to see Naga and Pasha on IT2. Pasha's looking very happy these days. Good for him.

I'm not that familiar with Naga, but getting to know her personality now. She looks like a good foil for Pasha....a different personality to some of his other ladies. She's a gorgeous lady, quite smart and witty so I can see Pasha enjoying this year. I hope she lasts a while!!!!! Although she has rhythm, you can tell how alien it is to her and how hard she has to work. The competition is the strongest I've see it for ages. There are so many couples I like. Danny, Tameka, Louise, Laura (my neck of the woods!!!), Greg, Will.......jaysus.....Ed even looks good for the Charleston. The dance-off will be a nightmare.

Pashulty and I were lucky enough to attend Strictly last night and managed to sneak on the dance floor by pure luck and get some Pasha hugs which made the show even more special! Still my fave <3 <3 <3 although definitely have a soft spot for Aljaz as well BOTH adorable!

Not sure how I feel about that.

I don't mind at all Jim, I'm just so pleased he will be on our screens again on Christmas Day. Thinking Frankie and Gorka will win, but don't mind, at least Pasha will be dancing again. Just hope the costume department have him in a 'proper' sensible outfit this year!
Plus, there's the CIN Special to look forward to this week. Very glad Pasha has been included in both these specials, especially since most of the male pros are now out of the main show!

Hi Shona - yes just pleased that Pasha's getting some air time on CIN and Christmas special - have missed him this year particularly, seems to have taken a back seat in most of the pro dances too, don't think he was in Sunday night's opener at all.
Not sure whether he and Pamela have started any training, or even if she's in the country yet.

Don't mind too much who wins - Danny and Oti my favourites atm, but enjoy Claudia, Ore, and Greg too!

I guessed Pasha wouldn't be paired up with Frankie as she has probably the best chance of winning and they don't seem to want him to win anything now#facedoesntfitsadly.
Will take it back if CIN result is different to what I expect though.
Pleased for Gorka to have a real chance.
Pasha needs to be allowed to dance to the guest artist and soon as show will be over before it's his turn at this rate and about time he was heavily involved/seen more in the pro routines - certain couples are always at the front, but that's another story.
However, with regards to Pamela, I think she will be ok - as you say Peppy, bit of a ringer back in the day. Here's hoping she is back here and in training. Otherwise she needs to get on the next plane over here! Time is of the essence as filming is on the 28th November I read.
I like the same couples as you, but think it's all geared for Louise winning, (btw great technical dancer) ok, moreso for her partner.
Anyway, we will see what the Blackpool show brings, but I'm looking forward to the CIN Special much more.

Just seen this re CIN special - though they seem to have the captions mixed up a bit! In fact they have the couples mixed up as well in the article - Pasha definitely dancing with Helen Glover, and Neil with Hollie.
Not sure if it's just a group dance, or whether they also each do a dance of their own - can't remember what the format's been in previous years.

We haven't seem much of him at all. The odd moment in the Clauditorium, supporting the couples, but not much in the pro dances. I know Jason said he was giving everybody a chance to take centre stage.....I suppose there are a few newbies.......

I wasn't a Pamela Stephenson fan when she was on, but I'll wait and see how it goes.

I'm loving this year...........so very competitive now. Some very good couples........Danny and Oti are my favourites, but there is absolutely nobody I dislike. It's going to be an interesting next couple of weeks, dance-off wise.

Would be good if things were done fairly and Pash had the starring role in a pro routine, but running out of time now. JG seems to have his favourites, shame for the fans as we would like to see our favourite at the front and leading for a change. No Sunday spot either from what I remember, mmm. (Think it's about time they listened to the fans, not ignore them.)
I really hope he returns next year and yes, with a celeb who has some natural ability too Peppy. Only time will tell.
