Thanks for posting that lovely picture Pashulty - photos are so much better than last year. I think the costumes will be fabulous too this year - particularly now that Julien McD is also on the show!! He will be keeping a critical eye......!

And now for a bit of news re Ryan and Lindsey - not sure they are a couple anymore - although they are still dancing together - found this in a news report - they have both become romantically involved with their dance partners in the recent SA Strictly...


"The 6th season which just concluded with Zakeeya Patel and Ryan Hammond taking the glitter ball home, saw real-life love blossom between two pairs of contestants: the winning couple Patel and Hammond who are very much in love, as well as the Expresso presenter Graeme Richards and dance instructor Lindsey Muckle who also found love on the dance floor."

Oh I just wish it would hurry up and start properly! I hate this three week gap. Pasha is my favourite pro (obviously) but this series I am determined not to get too involved and just enjoy the show. I'm hoping I can just oggle and lust after Pasha without all the tension of whether they will stay in or not.

Know what you mean sradia, that's exactly what I'm trying for this year too. Just can't afford to spend such silly amounts phone voting as last year. Think I suffered temporary insanity after Kimberley and Pashy were in the dance off.

But there are so many interesting and not-obvious pairs this year. Perhaps it will be possible simply to enjoy the series' ups and downs without reverting. I mean, Rachel is a complete beginner, and lots of the others I like are too. Being competitive doesn't come into it in the same way.

I know what you mean Monkey...but I would like Pashel to stay in as long as possible and if I need to vote I vote. Unlike other years there are lots of interesting pairs that I like as well. And we need to remember that whoever dances in whatever way Natalie will win this year. I cant see that not happening. The audience might take to others (and I am not meaning Pashel here) but Natalie will go straight to the final and once there she will win. So in a way voting becomes null and void. But I am really looking forward to all the pairs this year except maybe a couple and hopefully see some amazing choreo and dances.

That's what I like about this forum. It's like a better, more organic, version of ITT where all the regular 'features' emerge from posters' experience and sense of fun.

I too wasn't going to invest in anyone too much this year (though I always have a favourite) but then I read that Ben was signing up and I was lost to the real world. I promise you that it is his nature and philanthropy and humanitarianism which I admire most and other attributes second.

Yes, easier said than done, (I still maintain Chasha were robbed, I know it's time to let it go but still...)

There are a few interesting couples though, I'm looking forward to seeing Dave and Karen and Kevin and Susanna particularly. None of the couples that have been identified as main contenders after the group dance have grabbed my attention as yet, but we'll see
