I remember Elaine being very giggly when she danced with Matt Dawson too, she and Pash seemed to have got on well.

I know it's just a bit of Christmas light entertainment fluff, but I would love to have seen Pasha lift the glitterball - maybe next year?

What a lovely show and Pasha and Elaine's dance was such fun and so polished - it seems they got on really well. Pasha must have been delighted to work with her - he seems so kind to her, so touching to watch his gentle nature.

Problems with flooding?? now there's a tale! Not personally, but roads around here yes, couldn't get to work on Xmas Eve, tried all routes for 2 1/2 hours and gave up! Ok today though

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed the Strictly special. I certainly did and was thought Pasha did really well with Elaine (For me she will always be THE Grizabella in CATS). I received a Kindle for Christmas and downloaded Pasha's book- which I read in half a day. He has been through a lot and done so well for himself and is so humble/self depreciating, it was a lovely read .

Good choice downloading Pasha's book onto your Kindle. Once you start reading it you don't want to stop, just keep on turning the pages.
It really is a fabulous read; makes his success even more deserving and at the end of it all, success hasn't changed him in the slightest, he is still one genuine and humble human being.
Am soooo delighted he joined SCD, their gain and ours.

Yeah I'm enjoying a break from everything . Just goes to show hard work pays off. I'm glad he joined SCD too though I will admit I only started watching SCD last year and firstly had a soft spot for Vincent but liked Pasha's partnership with Kimberley. This year though I woke up and switched teams haha

I'm reading it too! I'm trying to space it out a bit so I don't read it too quickly but I'm already halfway through. I'm not usually very interested in celebrity biographies but I'm really enjoying reading his. I love his descriptions of Russia, then the contrast between that and New York, and I really enjoy all his descriptions of the food he's eaten.

He seems like a really different person to the kind of person I am, so it's interesting to see such a different take on things. He seems so self sufficient and unaffected by outside influences which I'm rather jealous of.

I never watched SYTYCD except some clips on youtube so had NO idea about the Jessi stuff so my jaw did drop a bit reading that bit!

We have had very rainy & blustery conditions here, but no snow thankfully music girl...Cant say much about the roads as haven't been out much the last few days
