I know right! I was surprised I managed to get picked so easily, but I was sat front and centre haha. people didnt seem THAT keen to join in tbh. there was another girl from my dance school who unfortunately didnt get picked who was trying to.

It was much less nerve wracking that doing a waltz in a competition tbh. That was literally one of the most scary things i've ever done! i feel a bit invincible after it, hence why i volunteered so readily tonight!

Just go for it man! and don't wait for pasha to come to town to start dancing. find a class near you. it's the most enormous fun.

If you already dance its easier to volunteer !! Its difficult for someone w/ two left feet (ie yours truly ) to do so !! eeeek !! ah well... maybe next year ... sigh ..

Fab pic indeed Pashulty, thanks for all links.
Lucky you Ellie, real jealous. Any dance with Pasha would do, but a slow one, just as well there was a technical hitch! Fair play to you though being brave enough to volunteer. Surprised women weren't running down the aisles in a bid to get on stage, sounds like a bit of a subdued audience or maybe just shy!
Anyway, good for you! Did you enjoy the show, though the highlight would have been the slow dance, something to treasure for sure.

I know I feel SOOO lucky. Forever grateful to Camberley theatre and their technical hitches. The highlight for me was dancing with Pasha (how could it not be?) but seeing Katya and Pasha dance together is wonderful. Their waltz in particular blew me away... really romantic and beautiful. The audience was a bit subdued but they both gave it everything and we were clapping and cheering even if no one else was.

Who are the other two couples with them does anyone know? Particularly the guy with the tattoo... I think he might be south african.

Ellie was that you!!!!!! Very well done!
Wow the show was absolutely amazing......they have thrown everything into this, I will do a report later today, as you now know the comp involves 3 ladies dancing with Pasha to 3 different songs..... Last night the First Lady was obviously a dancer and very good.....lucky Ellie who smooched with Pash until the music started....then the third lady who omg was all over Pash and I mean ALL OVER him......the music was you can keep your hat on from 91/2 weeks and she touched all his body then bent down behind him and put her head between his legs......I am not sure if they have thought about the dangers of this comp.
Abs, Pashulty and Callie have a brilliant time tonight.........will one of you dance with Pash!

Great to see all the activity on this thread!

Good to hear that you fun Ellie at the Camberley show - such a super opportunity to dance with Pasha - you will never forget!

Susie, thanks for your news so far - so nice of you to present all the cast with beautiful gifts - such a wonderful way to start the tour! Sounds as if the dancing is superb!

Everybody who are going tonight - have a wonderful time, Abs, Pashulty and Callie! (you have travelled a long way! )

Wow that first one is hot - yes Katya looks gorgeous but Pasha, phwoar.
Thanks Susie and Pashulty for posting the links.
The second picture is lovely though. Think they are a great partnership and have a real friendship.
Hope Callie, Pashulty and Abs have an amazing time at the show.
Try to keep her under control Callie, difficult job mind. Pashulty that is, not Abs!
Thanks Ellie for your thoughts on the show, sounds like you were describing Ryan indeed. He's good looking, muscly and really lovely to speak with.
Maybe he and James need to be a part of this dancing with a female from the audience after your description of the third lady last night Susie. OK who wouldn't, but a time and a place for everything. Maybe they will have a rethink now. Should have played 'Maneater' then! Thanks also for the report, sounds like a great evening.

Camberley- do not read this if you do not want to know show details

We arrived at 5pm delivered cupcakes etc and went for a meal.
The show opens with a Cha Cha to I Got a Feeling by Black Eyed peas and it makes you want to dance.......then there is a Salsa medley and they are joined by James and Jasmine and Ryan and Marcella.....then they do a fabulous take of the Blurred Lines video-You Know You Want It.....then K & P dance a stunning Waltz to kissing You which is so romantic......James & Jasmine then dance a high energy Charleston to Bang Bang....and Ryan & Marcella dance a Samba........there is a group dance to a Queen medley which they rock out......P & K dance a Jive to Great Balls of Fire.........a classic group dance medley to Singing In The Rain and NYC NYC ........P & k dance an amazing Tango to Roxanne. ( Moulin Rouge) and are joined by James and Ryan...very dramatic...then an AMAZING Paso Doble...
And finally a group medley to a little party never hurt anyone.
Forgot to mention the Rumba which was the same as WEU.
There were 2 group dances from a dance school. I loved the dynamic of having 6 dancers, and I was really impressed with Jasmine...I loved everty dance but I really adored the Paso Doble, Tango, Rumba and Waltz...I loved the drama and passion then the romance and the beauty.
Questions were by text to Mike..not much new but Pasha is single and ready to mingle!
Comedy element is when Mike comes on stage without his bow tie and calls Pasha on stage and asks him for his bow tie back, Mikes tells Pasha to stop taking other peoples things...just then James comes on only wearing his trousers....yep you guessed Pasha is wearing His shirt and Mike make him strip it off...Mike asks Pasha if he is wearing anything else that does not belong to him....Ryan then enters the stage wearing only a towel...but they decide to switch trousers backstage!
This show is really fabulous and really well put together....I can't wait to see it again.
They do a meet & greet after the show and as ever are just so lovely.
I hope this info is accurate as I still has a Pashafied brain.
I am very excited for you all to see it and can't wait to hear about it, I'm sure like me you will be blown away

Thanks Susie!! You have taken a lot of trouble remembering so much detail and it sounds like a fabulous show - can't wait! So good that all the dancers are having fun together and that they compliment each other - perhaps a much better balance to have two couples joining P and K. I hope they gain from the exposure and experience. Ryan certainly felt that being on the tour last year gave him 'an edge' and it led him to win the South African Strictly with his celeb.

I hope tonight's show also goes well - have fun Pashulty, Callie and Abs!

Found an interesting article by Sharna Burgess, choreographer for Sport Relief Strictly, in which she describes what it felt like to work with the paralympians - a little quote for you from the puredwts.com website -

"OMG I’ve been so busy that its a little crazy. Straight after the season Paul and I went over to London to choreograph 3 big things. 2 opening numbers for Strictly Come Dancing and a piece for a huge sports charity over there called Sports Relief with 4 incredible paralympians. I can’t describe the life changing experience it was working with the Paralympians, we had 2 women in wheelchairs, a blind soccer player and a javelin thrower with prosthetic legs. They reminded me how wonderful life is, and how everything that happens to us has a divine reason. Their spirit and positivity rivals most people I know, and I truly was bought to tears (as was the entire audience) on the night of their performance. Both Paul and I tried to express to them our gratitude for being who they are and giving us the gift of their presence and energy, and yet we were both too choked up for words that it just ended in sobs sounds and hugs. I have been blessed to do many things in my life, but that experience is up there with the best of them. Truly an unforgettable gift that I thank my blessings everyday for. It won’t air until March, and I can’t wait for you all to see it."

Thanks for this Music girl.
Lovely words from Sharna. She's an amazing dancer and was fab when she was in BTF and she's now doing very well for herself on DWTS. She has a great chance of winning this year with Charlie. (Not keen on this swapping partners that's planned however long for.)
They're my second favourites after Maks and Meryl, but I love Derek's choreography and his partner Amy is another inspiring individual.

Just back from weston super mare show not much to add to Susie's fab report, same question about pasha being single, what are your favourite dances? who was you favourite strictly celeb? If you could choose any celeb to dance with who would it be? What's it like with all the proffesional dancers in rehearsals? There was a bit of agro at the beginning when mike opened the show, the top circle just started to shout things at him, turned out that they couldn't see because the lights were so blinding. In all fairness they were really bright I couldn't hardly see the last dance they were so bright. Mike handled the whole thing brilliantly. I thought the show was probably the best so far much better having the other 4
dancers joining k&P, the outfits were particularly good this year. The meet & greet after was pure chaos nobody knew what to do & when katya and pasha came out they looked like rabbits in headlights not there fault just no organisation. K&P were fab sooo nice katya said she liked my necklace & asked were it was from thanked us for coming & nice to meet us and we were gone will try & post the piccie in the morning
