iPAQ hx470 and Nokia 6230 B/T GPRS problem!!!
I've always had an iPAQ and used them to connect to the Internet over B/T GPRS... my previous phone (Nokia 7610) worked a treat, but since I've upgraded my mobile to the 6230 (f/w 4.44) I'm having no end but grief
Making a B/T GPRS connection is easy and with the 7610 and my old iPAQ 4150 it worked fine. When I upgraded to my 6230 I again set up the connection BUT found the phone keeps dropping the GPRS connection... sometimes it lasts quiet a while... other times, I might be lucky to display 1 web page!!! So... I've recently upgraded my iPAQ to a HX4700 (stunning machine) which has an automatic connection manager program which detects the mobile/network etc and makes the B/T connection for you... the settings it gives are exactly the same as mine AND the nokia still keeps dropping the GPRS connections !!!! I'm sorry for being soooo long winded, but this is driving me crazy!!! Any suggestions? |
