Co.Down, live right on a large lough with views of the beautiful Mourne mountains, sandy beaches and unspoilt rolling drumlin countryside but no t.v reception. Love the place.

Can I ask why, been there a couple of times and liked the place. massive difference between London and the west coast of Scotland, almost 2 extremes?

I dunno. I don't think I intend to stay in Rio forever. Brazil yes, but I'd like to think I'll be living somewhere a little smaller and more sedate in a few years time.

Formerly in Devon. I loved its remote villages and parish churches, the stunning variety of the landscape, the deep wooded valleys and miles of empty beaches on the north coast, and Dartmoor, England's greatest wilderness, lying at the very heart of the county.

Now I live in Hampshire: boring, crowded and nothing but a giant dormitory town for London

Derbyshire - good central location, everything is within a reasonable distance. Plenty of countryside, National Forest and the Peak District. Home to my favourite country house, Chatsworth House.

Me as well but I love it. I moved to a small village when I retired, wouldn't live anywhere else.

I can't remember the place now but it was near Santos and had a beautiful white sanded beach, it seemed like paradise to me.

I have always lived in The Black Country.

Historically, most of it was part of Staffordshire. The rest was in Worcestershire.

It's now in The West Midlands. I like it here because of the way we spake.
