If Daley had told the HM's that he had split with his girlfriend why then did Dan, Dexter, Gina, Callum and even sam all speak with either daley or hazel about a line being crossed?

The hatred for Hazel started long before that. The reason they wanted her to go also is because they didn't like her. And the reason they didn't like her is because they had labelled her a homewrecker. If they had looked at it with an open mind they would have seen that Hazel did nothing to warrant being thrown out.

I always suspected he told Hazel a pack of lies.

The fact is he told different housemates different versions of his relationship status. In fact as I recall he contradicted himself with Dan, offering him two conflicting accounts on two different occasions. On the first occasion near the beginning he said he was single, and then after the Callum/Daley argument he told Dan he IS in a relationship while venting to him.

It's impossible to know what he told Hazel but I don't think it is unreasonable to assume he was untruthful with her.

I actually remember Daley telling the housemates that he had split up with her just before he entered the house. It was in the kitchen and there was at least four housemates present.

Worse still. she is unapologetic about chasing a man who told her he didn't have a girlfriend.!
