Just watched last nights show, he seems, well, to have lost it, but totally fixated on dexter, he seems really odd with those facial expressions, I am quite worried, does Big brother have councillors come in to talk to housemates?

Do you mean in the same way the Dexter seems totally fixated on Callum?

No its all game play from Callum. Everything that Callum does is part of his game plan I am completely convinced that we haven't even become to scrape the surface of the real Callum.

I think Sams letter from home saying 'Callum is a great friend to Sam in there and he's welcome to stay in Wales with the family any time' will be a great comfort to Callum.

I don't think he's lost it, I just think he's showing how much he dislikes him. I think this is the result of Callum bottling his anger up. He's just expressing his dislike for Callum. I know someone who's worse than that.

I've thought Callum was weird for some time now, but last night it became clear that he seriously has a screw loose. Its not just his fixation with Dexter, its his creepy behaviour with Charlie, and the way he is constantly heaping compliments and praise on her. Its also his determination to be a martyr for his housemates and his very strange looks and conversations in the diary room.

Callum is one very queer fish.

He's made the odd few mistakes though. He's been aggressive in conversations a few times. Last night's episode with him in the diary room was the result of bottling his anger up.

I'm not worried.

Callum is strange but his behaviour isn't unhealthy. He's just different and I think it takes a certain kind of person to get him. I must admit if I was in the house, I would find him cringe but I wouldn't dislike him. He's a nice enough guy, easy to talk to and failry harmless.

Yes he is a bit fixated on Dexter but it works both ways. They dislike each other to the same magnitude.

That's just him expressing his anger over Dexter.

I said to my hubby this is all going to end badly and the shopping task may just tip him over the edge if he and Dexter are paired together.

Only because in some ways they are similar. Game players who probably felt having a love interest would keep them in (as per previous years). Both want to be top dog but the "hate" is being more expressed from Callums side... (Dexters mask is still up)

I have been in stiches of late watching Callum
However,i do see your point. We are not witnessing 'normal ' behaviour.

In a way,I think thats good. Alot of people don't fit the stereotype of what is normal and have social anxiety as a result. I think people who are a bit eccentric like Callum should be on television to show how sophisticated 'normal' behaviour is and if someone deviates from that, even if just a little, they are shunned or mocked like Callum is.

To answer you point there are people on hand to counsel if necessary. I don't think Callum requires that assistance.

he is just an oddball
And there is nothing wrong with that!

Thats what makes him entertaining unlike dullards Sophie and Sam.
We don't actually know who the real Callum is..

I'm tired of ridiculous comments like this. Of course people can keep up an act for as long as they want! I've known people who've fooled their partners in marriage for years. It doesn't mean they are trained 'actors' - it simply means they can pretend to be something they aren't. It's a different thing.

Callum is a pretty bad actor as it goes, he tries to impress upon us that he's a nice guy, that he was pretending to be a womaniser when actually it seems to me that he's quite an aggressive, controlling guy who is a womaniser.

I agree that he is more entertaining than Sam and Sophie who are both terribly dull (& one of them should have gone instead of Dan), but although Callum's behaviour is interesting it is also very strange - and not in a good way.

I agree. Callum has really grown on me lately because he is so odd. It makes for more interesting viewing, in my opinion. Who wants to watch ordinary people?

But he hasn't kept it up for seven weeks has he, the first three weeks butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, now he reverts from Mr angry to Mr Therapist to Mr anything he feels like being at that particular moment. There is NOTHING consistent about him.
