I found her behaviour with Daley cringeworthy (the constant flirting and sexual innuendo) but I felt sorry for her when I saw the full footage of what happened in the SH with Daley and then later in the Diary Room. It felt like she was really scared of Daley in those final moments before BB stepped in, but that she didn't want to make a big fuss about it in case she was over-reacting.
I think it was a mistake for BB to have put them both back in the SH, but if she did cuddle up with Daley afterwards, this may have been down to survival on her part. Lots of women who've been subjected to the threat of or actual violence feel ashamed and confused - she knew that she'd wound Daley up - and I felt that her response in the DR, the tree house with Dan and later in the sitting room, was indicative of those mixed feelings.
I don't know what this supposed 'Girlcode' is. In my experience, girls don't become involved with their girl friends' love interests, but if a man who is already involved with someone else starts flirting and showing sexual interest in a girl, what she wants is that he demonstrates that his existing relationship is over or that he is putting the wheels in motion to end it. No-one wants to share their lover or to be seen as second fiddle or 'mistress'. Daley's claim that his relationship was no longer solid suggests to me that Hazel had already made it clear to him that he needed to be 'single' before she'd take things any further with him.
Having listened to the advice of Dexter, Callum and Gina, I suspect that Daley was trying to back off from Hazel a little during that last evening in the SH and Hazel sensed this. Her conversation with Charlie in the garden could have been bravado on Hazel's part (indicating that she felt he had too much baggage, she could cut him off in a second, etc). Once she returned to the SH, he appeared to be drunk and ready for sleep, not exactly desperate to cuddle with her, irritated by her accent and the silly things she was saying and the stolen duvet game. Hazel seemed determined to 'win' back his interest and we all saw what happened next.
Since he's left, I've noticed that she has become much more 'natural' both in her appearance (less make-up and fake tan etc. which could be to impress Daley in the outside world) and in her behaviour. I find her intelligent and patient with other HM's and sometimes very funny in a dry-humoured kind of way. I think she's been brought up to be tough (she seems to HATE being close to tears....) and she's a good sport (eating vile things, dressing up as a snake etc. without being diva-ish about it and her confusion about being seen as a 'snake' seems genuine. If Daley told her a pack of lies about his outside relationship and led her to believe that he was a single man or on the verge of, I don't think her behaviour was 'snake' like. I don't think she set Daley up to be ejected from BB - she told the truth about what happened (i.e. what started off as a game then became scarey and she certainly looked scared as she slipped out of bed and sat on the sofa in the SH) and I feel that she remained amazingly patient and reasonable throughout the argument last night on live feed with Charlie, who clearly knows that Hazel's achillees heel lies in what happened between her and Daley.
I don't want her to win, in fact I don't think I have a favourite in this series, but I think she deserves to be there until the end.
