He may not have had many highlights but deserves respect for trying his best.
I for one hope he makes the final.”

He's a thoroughly nice lad, this is a popularity contest, he could well leave last on finals night.

He's a nice lad, I haven't really got a bad word to say against him apart from he's a bit boring, but he has had a few good moments. Still would have preferred Dan to stay over him though.

If it's difficult for Sam, too difficult perhaps, then he shouldn't have applied. I don't want to watch Big Brother and have to make allowances all the time, otherwise I'd have to make allowances for character traits too in the interests of fairness i.e. that Wolfy was a deluded bullshitter, so she couldn't help it.

Like I've said on a number of occasions, when the show started Sam/ his family/ his colleagues etc were painting him as a funny guy who delves into things and is the life and soul of the party. If that's the case, he doesn't need people going 'Aww, the poor lad, no-one gives him a chance' every five minutes. The real truth is that he's not the big and amusing character he thought he was.

As people have said above: he's a nice guy, but a lacklustre BB housemate, and it's nothing to do with his deafness. All these excuses bring out the worst in me though!”

Good points, but Sams is a loss of a very important sense,It is difficult for him to participate in large group scenarios and must be very frustrating for him even though he wants to.
No comparison to Wolfy at all.

He's a very beautiful looking boy- I think he would make a good male model- i can just see him in some moody grainy shots.

While everyone was playing drinking games, Sam was in bed asleep. What exactly do you want them to show?

Well they could have shown Callum and Sam's disagreement a few nights ago. Especially since they showed Dexter's
comments on what happened. Dexter's comments about Callum being overprotective would have made more sense.

Its refreshing to see some nice things about Sam, i'm guessing that the OP watches the LF as thats where his personality shines. Its a shame he hasn't had other laddish lads to bounce off of, he's a lot funnier than the chosen 'funny ones', namely the twins!
I think you're right that Callum could be his downfall, especially now that Callums being edited to look even more of a nutter. I'd be happy to see Sam in the top 3.

Sam doesn't really have a choice - it's either listen to Callum or sit by himself.

Same with Callum really, no-one else seems to be interested in befriending either of them so they're kinda stuck with each other whether they like it or not.

Really not trying to be nasty, but this is the way I see it - Callum is seen as an easy target unfortunately,

They even cut out his joke on the HL show.

There! that was something Sam did that just did not happen to some as it wasn't on the HL show.

He is telling jokes and yet those watching only the HL show are calling him boring.

They where playing catch in the garden,no one else seems interested you would think the twins would be more fun loving with them.

Re the Mikey point provisions were made for his disability. The producers and housemates make no allowances for Sam's disability or show him any consideration.

To be honest I think the housemates forget he is deaf half the time which is a credit to him, he doesn't make a bit deal of it.

It is a minority in my opinion who make him conscious of it, Sophie being one, I seem to remember him having trouble with the alphabet and her being quite nasty about it, fact being he will have difficulty with certain letters and pronouncing them in the first place.

I like Sam, he has such an inappropriate sense of humour I can't help but laugh. The editing has been so off for me, his night time conversations with Gina were never shown, the producers seem fixated with forcing the non love triangle down our throats constantly instead.

He isn't a winner but it's lovely to see a positive thread on him.

Perhaps because they are the wrong excuses. Sam needs young, fun loving, light-hearted friends. It is not a bullying house, but it is a very self-absorbed group of people with relatively little fun. Having Callum as his best friend is like trying to lark around with Jeeves. Last year he could have hung out with Arron, who would have been much nicer than he was with Conor, the year before he could have had a whale of a time with Maisy and faye before Faye got all serious. And so on. This year he is with people who either can't be bothered to include him at all or who have the same sense of fun and spontaineity as Margaret the Oyster.

Nice enough guy, but if he'd been evicted along with Sallie in week 1 the show would be no different.

I like Sam a lot, his disability is inconsequential in my opinion of him. He seems like a nice, genuine young man who has achieved a lot in his young life - playing for the GB and Welsh Deaf Football Team, teaching football to kids (presumably deaf) in the USA, the DOND appearance and winning £7k. He obviously knows what he wants.

He is charming, funny and doesn't seem phased by much. He's been enthusiastic in the tasks and to me he seems to have grown up a bit too over the few weeks they have been in there. His relationship with Callum I see as a mutually beneficial one. They obviously have fun together as well as talk a lot with each other.

Not sure any of that makes him a winner, but it does make him a lovely guy.

One thing - I would love to have seen him blow when Jackie was arguing aggressively with Callum - he was sat next to her with a very angry look in his face and clenched fists, if only he'd decided to let rip, that could have been interesting

Sam may not have been overly entertaining but he's a good, level headed soul who has remained true to himself throughout the whole show, not letting any of the surrounding craziness have a negative impact. He hasn't diminished his character to survive, so to speak.

Agreed i can't seem to figure out why he is disliked he's been one of the stand out housemates for me, in terms of not acting up to the camera's and just staying loyal to his true friends.

This has irritated me, even on the night with Daley and Hazel, instead of getting a good chunk of Gina and Sam having some interesting conversations, they stayed fixated on Hazel and Charlie's one on one and wasn't even close to mentioned on the HL show. wouldn't bother me if i wasn't having to watch the twins play up to the cameras and have all their inane interactions shown the whole time.

Conor would have included Sam. And Sam, perhaps uniquely that year, might not have minded about the shouting.

He was the ONLY one asleep at that, through a huge barny that went on and on.

And his fans moan when people suggest that Sam is dull and often takes himself away from the action to laze around?

From what I understand he was not well maybe had too much to drink. People who watch the live feed say hat he is normally around and joining in with the group. This was a one-off
