That more aptly describes Charlie. Hazel isn't much of a fighter.

It is not Hazel's fault that Daley got drunk and crossed the line because he has 'issues'.

It is not Hazel's fault that Charlie was so drunk she clumsily prodded at her face with a cucumber, taking the horseplay too far. I'm sure the Daley situation didn't teach her to be wary of lushes with salad vegetables. The cucumber thing wasn't a big deal and Hazel didn't make it so.
I've heard your argument in the playground. "It's not my fault Miss, she started it" Lol.

I do think self-awareness, and a bit of reflection can go a long way in some of these situations.

I think she's doing everything in her power to ensure that she remains under the spotlight. If it means degrading herself, and goading others until they PREDICTABLY do something back, she will do it.

She's not interested in being human, she hates showing emotion. She's not being herself, she's fake. She's all about control, while playing the victim when she winds others up. Good tactic, I must remember that next time I goad a man, or stick a cucumber in someones mouth repeatedly.
That's quite an imagination. Goading? They were both messing around but Charlie was a bit drunker so was a bit rougher and a bit more clumsy.

She used it to seek the limelight? C&H got over it quickly. It was a non-event, not even a storm in a teacup. Bb called her to the DR & brought it up. Hazel didn't make a big deal of it.

Not interested in being human? That is quite a jump you've made because someone doesn't want to cry on TV. Lots of us don't like to show too much emotion publically or with strangers so I find it a bit presumptuous, and, I must say, pecular, to say we don't want to be human.

Your argument doesn't work when you then read what Hazel has said about Hazel. She has clearly indicated that she is not averse to using good old fashioned manipulation to get what she wants. How does that tally with what you just said?

A lot of competition for that award but they would certainly be in the running!

When you play a little bit, it's funny. When you keep annoying people, and they retaliate, don't be surprised. People, humans, animals = spontaneous beings who can react in a myriad of ways. That's why I don't goad others...this way I don't have to then react in terror when they snap or retaliate.

Some bans coming up I feel.

Maybe viduka09's been on the bad end of a Hazel, and should be listened to just like those who've been on the bad end of a Daley. For all we know.

What is that even supposed to mean? That's not an argument, it's an attempt at a Charlie style very thinly veiled insult but it doesn't even make sense.

Well if you're going to flippantly dismiss what I think are fair points, based on what actually happened as opposed to my dislike of Hazel, then I could say I've heard yours at Women's Aid.

To be fair, I'm not really comparing any of this to domestic abuse (honest!) but i do think it's very unfair to take 2 isolated and incomparable episodes and decide it's all Hazel's doing when it's there in front of us that it wasn't.

Tbh far too much is being made of this cucumber business - it was nothing. Charlie's the only one who made it a big deal to deflect from her low comment.

What an exaggeration.

Hazel is okay. I don't understand all the hate.
I think some people can't get into the show without having a hero and a villain. They scrabble around, desperately looking for someone to champion, and cling onto the first HM to display any form of half-arsed wit. From there on in, that HM will be lorded and magnified, with people hanging onto every word they say. They're invariably elevated to the status of genius. Anyone who dares to point out any obvious shortcomings, will be summarily dismissed as jealous.
Once they have their hero, they go hunting for their villain, and if
the chosen one so much as blinks the wrong way, it becomes de rigueur to label them as vile, evil, or a nasty piece of work.

Think Charlie's VT said something about her being aggressive so if you believe one you believe the other. Personally I take all VT's with a pinch of salt

It's the modern day Colliseum. Not very pleasant to watch but amusing, in it's own way. This ^^^^^^ is why I can't figure out those appreciation threads at all. NO-ONE is perfect. There's good in everyone and I think Hazel's a far superior human being to the walking caricature who sneers from the bench. But I'll defend Gina from attacks on her appearance every time because it's uncalled for. I'll criticise Hazel for her flirting because it's gauche. I just can't understand this one-dimensional approach to the programme.

Luke M, Bea, Makosi, Charlie and this guy I can't remember the name of all come before Hazel, easy. Then Connor is another description all together. To be fair ver BB history their have been lots of 'so called bitches' of the show (male ones as well as female).
Oh bea was a marvellous bitch, she really was a terrible girl

If someone tells you who they are, you better believe them, and this applies to Charlie as well.

Hazel was very clear that she will manipulate situations in order to get what she wants. I have no reason to disbelieve her.

I don't understand your post, sorry. 'What Hazel said to Hazel'?

I'm sure she is capable of manipulation, as many are, but in this case I can't see how she manipulated anything. Bb called her to the DR, she didn't make it a big deal of it, she called it for what it was: tomfoolery that went a bit far due to drink but no malice intended and she was grand. She said to Charlie it wasn't a big deal.

If you're referring to that vt thing then I'm afraid we won't ever agree because I see that as having no bearing on this particular incident. Or any incident I would imagine. It doesn't influence how I see things in the house. I've never judged a Hm on their vt.

It's nice that you don't goad people.
And it's nice that Hazel hasn't goaded anyone either.
