She had such an innocent face when she came out with something so insulting. She then pretended to act shocked when the other person was upset. So she garnered sympathy while her victim stewed

Yeah, regrettably we've all met them. Passive aggressive individuals, then feign total innocence at the havoc they cause.

Ok, I'm no fan of what happened between Hazel and Daley. However (imo) he was removed from the house for aggressive behaviour, and rightly so.

Why Charlie felt the need to bring his name into their quarrel is beyond me. It wasn't very nice, and she wasn't even there when anything happened in the safe house.

Watching her tonight I see a woman who really needs to stop drinking and engage brain before opening her mouth. I felt quite sorry for Hazel as it goes. And that's not something I thought I'd be saying!

Charlie must have some massive rage suppressed in there because she says some truly horrible things.

Is Gina a prostitute?

Was Hazel in some way responsible for her ex's suicide?

Ffs. Who says stuff like that? It's unbelievably cruel and aggressive and couched in such "poor me" terms.

This wasn't about Daley, the creep, but about the aggression Charlie felt towards Hazel. And she knows exactley what she was doing. It seems to be her opus operandi

Sorry to repeat myself but if anyone wants to see the Real Charlie
Remember the night she was sitting there winding Daley up about Dexter & Hazel.?
She was loving the fact he got that worked up and stormed off.

Charlie a professional victim

She's not saying things randomly. That is what she is thinking. Gina being a prostitute and Hazel's ex killing himself over her.

Who needs a friend like that?

Half the time when she says these things she is in the middle of justifying herself and her actions.

The cucumber jabbing seemed to get worse and worse as she attempted to demonstrated how unaggressive she'd been the previous time..

In her desire to justify her every thought and deed she goes on and on and on and on - in the end, inevitably - she says something at someone else's expense - eg the Daley comment. But the comment was really 'me, me, me, poor me'.
And even then she doesn't stop as she then has to go on and on and on in her need to justify that comment.

And so it goes on.

She must be HELL to live with in real life !!!

Charlie knows exactly whats she's doing. Her hurtful and sometimes viscious comments are intentional. There always followed by her bumbling apologies to get everyone to rally round her.

Nasty piece of work and very devious.

Totally. Nastiness and vindictiveness. As she herself said she is aggressive and plays mind games

She's a nightmare. Luckily I don't have a "Charlie" in my circle of friends. Must be awful in that house being trapped with a bunch of numpties and having to listen to them drone on and on and on ......

Is it a double this week? Oh I hope so. I'm actually tempted to pick up the phone and vote her out if she's up! The other half of that double would be Callum by the way

I think she is quite a boring housemate and without the "love triangle" aspect, she wouldn't even feature. Not a fan of Charlie

I also can't stand people who drop their bombshell statements then appear shocked that anyone was offended.

She is a grown adult woman who has to take responsibility for what she utters, She's not some naïve young teenager fgs

I love the way Charlie is made out to be some evil bitch. Compared to what some of the others have said she's Mother Theresa.

All things I would also say about her mother's behaviour in the house. Both of them. ick.

Charlie always blames drink when she is causing trouble.
She is not drunk IMO when she is doing her stirring

I believe those comments were made by Sally, if I am not mistaken.

I simply cannot stand Hazel as she was vehemently denying she accused Charlie of being aggressive whilst speaking to Callum, this was the basis of her argument.

However not until the hapless Callum finally realised Hazel had indeed uttered those words, did she revert to the Daley incident.

Charley did check herself and did shut up, something they have all asked her to do. Further, Charlie went on to say there was no relationship with the two incidents.

I agree Charlie is all of the above terrible things, but this part...

It's really beyond you? It's pretty obvious they've all correlated Hazel's public response with Daley's ejection. Especially as they've been denied a consistent version from Hazel. It's obvious why Hazel calling you aggressive having just been to the diary room might ring alarm bells. What's not to understand?

Plus Charlie's "slips" have been kind of truthful in most cases, haven't they? Maybe only the Hazel ones are totally wrong, hmm.

Charlie doesn't pretend to be innocent, she pretends that what she says she doesn't mean to say, or has been worded wrongly. But what she thinks is what she means, she just hasn't learnt the art of looking convincing enough about not meaning to say it. Just my opinion.

I used to be friends with someone like that, who would always do spiteful and hurtful things then act dopey and say "but I didn't know..."

She's a bitch, she should just own it. She seems to think she's a poor little child who deserves to be let away with everything. She's almost 30 FFS.

Quite unbelievable......surely anyone in their right mind saying something awful, immediately regrets it.......cuts out too much alcohol .......and keeps her thoughts to herself in future........learns from her mistake........but no......Charlie is 28 fgs.......if she is so loved, why has nobody pulled her up on this like Gina did........and Hazel too........drink is no excuse for her crass stupidity.......
