seems like he is devoid of a personality so he is using little bits of 'personality' he has seen in films and thinks will make him look good, however it has the effect of making him as scary as Frankenstein, the monster made of bits and pieces of other people.

He hams it up for the cameras, talking to himself when in the tree house, his poor me and I'm a working class hero speech in the diary room, superherosvsvillian speech. It seems all for the benefit of the viewers and doesn't come across as natural.

It's that kind of speak that makes me call him a creep.
Callum has now become the new 'STFU Jackie', except more extreme.
Now, when he speaks, along with shouting "STFU Callum" I also say "where's the remote? mute it!"
I cannot bear him saying things over and over again like a stuttering robot, he says stuff 3 times like a form of verbal OCD.
The Gestapo could have played a video of him repeating himself and Charlie wittering on saying "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" and could have cracked the toughest spy!

I reckon he's been in counselling - hence he's apes some counselling techniques/tools when he communicates, i.e. reflecting back what Charlie said 'Hmm... you feel confused' and 'take your time...no rush' etc. He probably thinks he's a really good listener, whereas he comes across as fake and creepy.
