Thanks for the positive thoughts. Still no word from the vets in the area (I've gone a few miles in all directions, so not just my vet). I keep wondering though what could have happened. If he wandered too far from his usual patch and was found by someone, surely the first thing they would do is take him to their nearest vet. If he's still on the prowl, why doesn't he come home? I'm really worried that he's trapped somewhere but there are literally thousands of places he could be.

I was most upset about how his sister, Daisy would cope. They went everywhere together and even hunted as a pair. Of course they liked to 'wrestle' with each other too but it was only a bit of fun. Fortunately, if she's missing him, she hides it well. If anything I think she likes the extra attention she's getting. She even brought in a little shrew for me today. Humphrey was always the one to deal the finishing blow so I think it's under my wardrobe now. I'll try to fish it out later and let it go outside.
I've got a mother & son (cats) and the boy (my little black prince!) can go off for up to a day and a half sometimes. It drives me do-lally. I cant sleep properly till I know he's back. Best of luck m8 and I hope he comes home soon.

Cats. They're so bloody selfish!

How do I send a picture in a PM?

I've uploaded a video of the little bugger to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8BJg...ature=youtu.be which should give you an idea of what he looks like. I don't have that many photos of him though I had loads on my old laptop but it got nicked last year. I don't have many videos either which is why I had to include the one of him eating a bird on my bathroom floor

Thanks. I just found an old photo I thought I had lost when my old laptop was stolen. Humphrey and Daisy. I had posted this in another thread here (Mad Cat Owners Pictures - or something like that). He must have only been a year old when this was taken. I'm so glad I have this photo back now.

My sisters cat when missing and she had gone into the neighbours garage and she had been locked in there for nearly two days and no one had realised. My mother told my sister not to give up hope and go call for her and not keep trying. Her husband and daughter went out and kept calling for her the next day and she was eventually heard meowing pitifully in the garage. I sincerely hope you find your cat, my sister was in tears so I know the pain you're going through. Poor you and your poor missing cat .
