How can it be that all these 'slip ups' are somehow, coincidentally, always related to a subject that someone is particularly sensitive about ? ... the exact slip up, in fact, that is sure to offend the most

And why, having been told that she has caused offense, does she then ( after saying that she didn't mean it 'like that' at all ) does she go to repeat the offensive remark several times, in order to explain herself

yes Seems like the perfect cover to say some really nasty things.
they left it out of the h/l show but for a woman not far of 30 years old to be saying she is still "growing up" I just found utterly insane.
In her head she still thinks of herself as a teenager.

Her little girl lost routine is very annoying. I think she means what she says but tries to take it back and appear all innocent. Her don't hate me, don't hate me, I always say the wrong thing, I don't mean to routine is wearing rather thin now.

I' not sure Hazel even likes her anyway. Tolerate maybe. Loose mouth Charlie just cannot be trusted. The only person she had a real connection with was Dan imo. The twits are star struck and Hazel merely indulges their fancies. I can't see anything more.

Well she certainly made sure that Daley was back in the conversation. Something that Hazel would much rather not have happen I would imagine.

Yes, she knows exactly what she is doing. People seem to forget she's a 28 year old women, not a kid.

I get the impression that Charlie has always been in the shadow of her somewhat over bearing mother and has never really been allowed to grow up and make the mistakes that teenagers and twenty somethings do.

When she's away from her mother, she's unsure how to conduct herself as a woman in her late twenties with the responsibility that brings, because she hasn't really being exposed to people other than 'creative art' types.
