Because that is the only scenario that makes sense of Charlie's statement that Hazel was behaving to her like she did to Daley.

That cucumbers are for eating and masturbating with, not poking eyes.
Oh and Charlie is a bit mental.

This is a very good point, actually. Hazel was more or less happy to move past it and made very light of it in the DR. Two things caused it to escalate - the DR request and then Gina's shouting about why Hazel had 'gone' to the DR; not why she had been called, why she had 'gone'.

If they are 'lying side by side being best friends' would Hazel say Charlie was being aggressive (behind said BF's back) when Hazel, once again, was involved in a 'play fight' that got out of hand? That she, herself, started?”

It wasn't behind her back, as Hazel said and we all saw she was sat practically next to them and hence why she heard her say it.

It revealed nothing about Charlie, we already knew she's got foot in mouth disease.

It didn't really reveal anything about Hazel either, just conffirmed what we already know about her too, she likes to lie and likes to play the victim - she lied about calling Charlie 'aggressive' and she lied about the cucumber even touching her eye. She just stirred the whole thing up then went into victim mode.

True, and it seems she tried to dismiss the whole thing with the old "charlie doesn't think before she speaks" point, personally think Hazel showed herself up royally here tried her hardest to make Charlie look bad and wasn't expecting Charlie to argue her side..

Having watched Hazel make a big issue of it on last night's HL show, she pretty much lost that argument from every angle imo.

Simply not true, if it had been said infront of her then she wouldn't have denied it until Callum pointed out that she had indeed said Charlie was aggressive, at which point she changed her argument to say she actually did feel Charlie was aggressive despite the fact we all know the whole "cucumber gate" was all done in jest, from Hazel's side and also from Charlies side.

What about Hazels "shocking behavior" that led to things being escalated in the first place? Lets excuse all of Hazels behavior slapping Daley and what not, and focus solely on what Daley did, sure that's fair and objective.

They were sat at the kitchen table, all three of them.

Charlie just looked at them both and sighed.

Let's make this clear, everyone was walking around and Hazel was having a quiet word with Callum not wanting Charlie to hear, hence why she was asking Callum instead of involving both Charlie and Callum in a discussion, and it seems she just wanted someone to talk at so as to basically convey her message to the camera's that she felt Charlie was aggressive, she spent her time talking to Charlie about how cringe Callum was, she could have spoke to the twins or Sophie but Callum was there so she used him to get her message to the cameras. In my view at least that's how i saw it.

Also you'll also remember that Sophie didn't take too kindly to the way it was explained too.”

Biggest snake etc is due to her getting air time with Daley and being beautiful. Edited to shaft her.

Sophie was angry at DAN and the way he patronised them like a school master ....NOT with the explanation per se.

11.36pm: Gina points out that throwing cucumbers is dangerous. Joe: "Oh shut up, Gina - you chucked a melon the other week!"

Its dangerous to play with cucumbers!

it has shown : hazel hasnt got a ready soundbite yet for her miserable behaviour with daley, that charlie isnt as stupid as she wants people to believe.

reminded me that i've never liked cucumber...****in bland unless its being occupied by woman.
that Hazel probably still has some sort of loyalty to Daley going by what Dan has said since coming out and not slagging him off to the housemates.

Hazel started the play fight and then it all got a bit too much She can give it but she can't take it

Charlie def needs to think a bit more!

The trouble with this is it became a problem when Hazel accuses Charlie of being 'aggressive' - the exact same reason that the house understands led to Daley's expulsion.

This to me was a pretty much inevitable situation because without a more detailed explanation about Daley then there is always going to be a real suspicion of Hazel. I understand why she felt it right to keep quiet but they know the public hate her for some reason that they can't work out and its fuelled the fire.”

You make some good points there. I can understand completely why Hazel was as angry as she was about it considering she obviously 100% believes that what happened with Daley was aggressive and he should have been removed. She's right. But when she's getting a tennis ball thrown over saying that Daley has slated her in the press and then having the knowledge that the public hate her, she's going to be sensitive about issues like that. She probably feels like the public think she strung Daley up and over such a sensitive issue, that is the last thing she wants. I believe her fully on that. And let's be honest, a lot of the public apparently do think that.
Charlie really needs to think before she speaks. She was in the wrong tonight and I'm a Charlie fan.

I'm a bit disappointed in hazel over this. Id hoped she' put things behind her and was working towards showing the public they were wrong to be so hard on her, but I think she's dropped the ball over this.

If there was any 'aggression' in the situation, she was equally responsible for it. It looks more like now she can give but she cant take. I think she created the situation.

Coming out of the diary room, she shouldnt have said anything. She did mention Charlie being aggressive and shame on her for then denying that to Charlie until callum refused to back her up on her denial.

I can understand why she wasnt happy with daley being brought up, its a sore subject for numerous reasons for her. But Charlie to be fair stopped herself straight away when she realised she shouldnt have mentioned it (though charlie was actually right in some ways to use it as a comparison).

Probably worst of all for me was when Hazel realised she'd created the situation and it was esculating without her looking too good, tried to use the old Im more sober than you line to condescend Charlie. Id say Hazel walking off was her admitting she'd lost the moral high ground in the situation but maybe also to save the friendship as continuing the arguement wouldnt have been good for either.

I really like Charlie, shes quite level headed. My disappointment will be shes too quick sometimes to apologise for things she doesnt need to.
