For those of you who don't Like Hazel... Putting the Daley situation to one side, meaning if Hazel and Daley were just friends and didn't flirt with each other or lead one another on Etc. Would you like Her? I just remember she was actually quite popular before that happened and People really warmed to her.

Why should they put it aside it's a big part of her time in the house so it's hard to put it to the side .

Good question to be fair, it's a little hard to be objective on this but i don't think i would, it was her two faced nature and the way she would put down Gina and Dexter to begin with that i disliked, also suddenly liking Dexter but still slating him to Charlie and generally just involving herself in the Charlie/Dexter/Callum situation are all reasons why i just can't warm to her..

What is hazel even still doing in the house, oh yeah I forgot Big Brother make desperate twists to ensure we have to endure her for another week. Hopefully she is out this Friday.

In real life... After it's all over... Dexter would be sneering at most of his 'fans' on here and Gina would look down her nose, at hers.
Be real and think about it.... If you're honest you'll know that's true.
But yes, in there they're 'entertaining'.... Such as Dexter's attempt at a 'showmance' with Charlie, to stay popular... (she's not too bright and can't see through it)

Dan thinks Hazel has been badly edited and she's the ONLY one he wants to stay in touch with, on the outside.
The man is very astute and his judgement of Hazel is 'bang on'.

Beneath the surface, Daley was a very 'strange' person indeed and Hazel made a stupid mistake in playing up to him... But apart from that she's been a likable person... So she shouldn't be written off for one blunder.

I'd love to see her survive to the final.

I didn't like Hazel much before the whole Daley thing. Her and Dan seemed to have this superior head of house thing going on between them, like they ruled the roost. I thought they were quite nasty game players. Although my more intense dislike of Dan could've tainted how I felt about Hazel, especially when she was all over him.

I never liked her with Daley but I still do not think she should've got so much stick for what happened. I still firmly believe that BB should've got him out of the SH when he was totally losing it before Hazel came back in, just to tell him to calm down and chill. But they didn't and Hazel had no awareness of how riled up he was. Daley is responsible for his own actions and I think BB quite liked Hazel getting the blame, as it blurs the fact they forgot about their duty of care to Hazel, by not calling Daley in to calm down, when we could see on LF he really lost it.

So no, not a great fan of Hazel. She is my second most disliked HM. But the stick she's getting re the Daley situation to me is not fair.

I didn't like Hazel from pretty much the beginning. Within a week she was one of them (like Dex) who I could not warm to in anyway. I found her very cold and detached with all the HMs.

I found her excessive flirting with Dan distasteful, and felt for Dan and his partner that they found it uncomfortable. I remain of the opinion that she was using the fittest guys to flaunt her body to further her career - no issues with the career, but the idea of pushing other people's sexual boundaries against their wishes goes against the grain for me.

She then dumped Dan like a tonne of bricks despite them apparently being best buddies. Proving the cold detachment I saw in her - most people form some loyalties in there. She doesn't seem to and I find that unnerving.

When you get on to Daley pre-Incident, same thing applies. All the coaxing and teasing him even when he tried to keep some physical boundary there wasn't to my taste at all.

She also has a real cunning and clever side where she twists words and situations to try belittle others and make them appear wrong, when in fact she is doing a bit of lying. Gina and the VT thing through to Charlie and the aggressive thing.

She just doesn't seem like a nice, warm, or particularly likeable HM for me at all.

That's not to say she hasn't got good qualities or had any good moments for me, just that overall and throughout she's been near the bottom of my HM faves list.

LMAO.

Person 1: [Fairly in-depth character study of Hazel, with valid reasons given for dislike, and examples to support these reasons]

Person 2: "Yeah, well... YOU'RE UGLY!"

So much for reasoned debate, addressing the raised issues, etc.

Exactly, but the format has to suit her to enable that to happen. That said all 8 hms have done very well including the twins which count as one to get as far as they have. People should give em all credit where credit is due. Any 8 of em could win easily.

I quite like that Hazel isn't a cry baby. She just gets on with it and I thought she handled Charlie very well.

Totally agree with BillyBoy7. One thing though I did find it curious that Dan said he wants GIna to win and not Hazel.

He also really likes Sallie and doesn't see the overjudgemental side of Jackie. If a person isn't presenting you with their "bad side" its quite hard to see it as others on the receiving end see it or as outsiders (us) see it.

He could simply have been going with the crowd and also knows that Hazel wont be there for the final anyhow.

Good question OP - I wish more had answered it rather than used it as an excuse to criticise people who do not share their opinions...

I think I might have liked her a little had the Daley flirting (and the rest) not occurred. Every now and then I begin to warm to her and think to myself 'she actually seems ok' but then something happens to make me go off her again, like cucumbergate! Whatever people see in her to like I just don't see it. I do not think she is a warm, kind person. She never seems to go out of her way to look out for others or even ask them how they are, unless it is in response to them asking her.

I would have to put her going off on Gina because something she said on her VT also.

I've pinched this as it saves me typing my thoughts on Hazel, I've deleted the Dexter part as I liked him at the beginning.

I was uncomfortable with the way she was with Dan long before the Daley incidents, I didn't dislike her but she was one of my least favourites and I hoped she would go out pretty quick, something cold about her behind the flirting I felt.

I don't think I have judged her much for the Daley situation it was up to him to set the boundary as he was the attached one.

I still see a cold calculating woman though and cannot warm to her.

Peeps dont always have to debate, some peeps just like to say their opinion without going into all the details. After all it is a forum.

It's possible OP, although that would be a different BB to the one that's actually unfolded, so who knows? A bit like saying to Gina fans "If she'd done XYZ, would you like her less?". I lost my positive thoughts for Hazel during her Dan period, before the Daley stuff.
