Charlie turns from a repetitive, rambling bore into a MASSIVE, super repetitive ME, ME, ME freak after a small amount of alcohol - EVERY single time she drinks it.
She's a killer of conversation before alcohol - after alcohol she's very quickly a nightmare drunk.
I don't know if alcohol has become the 'allowed' substance of choice for Charlie after the coke addiction but it MUST be clear for her - as it is for many ex addicts, and for us viewers - that it is equally as toxic to her.
I believe the 'foot in mouth, Ooop's Charlie you didn't just say that' ploy was always, always a game plan but it becomes an obviously blatant, and clearly contrived nonsense when she's had a very little - she gives herself away easily.
I find her a very strange and troubling girl. She's 27, looks 37+ and acts in the minus of a very troubled young teen.
