Dexter and Gina have both been good HM's but no way would I vote them to win, my vote would go to someone that I like, this year I still haven't worked out who will get my vote, it will depend who is there at the end....

Whether people vote for reasons of entertainment, sob stories or looks of a looks of a hm, is up to them. It's that some people bother to vote and sometimes even numerous times that I can't understand. My hms sometimes vote and they do it because they think they're making their mark on the show by swaying results, and I just say they're mugs for wasting their money and they know this deep down, but they just have this urge to let a hm (that will never know or meet them) know how they feel about them via a voting system which doesn't amount to great deal of people ianyway (esp if one person has voted numerous times).

Personally, as long as it's not nasty, I don't care what any of the housemates do for a job or what they're like in the real world.

To be honest, I know I'd dislike Gina and Dexter massively in real life (though Dexter would at least be interesting to talk to once). Sallie, Jackie and Daley I wouldn't want to give the time of day to. The rest just aren't the sort of people I would mix with, other than what little I've seen of Sam.

However, what I'm looking at is how much do they interest me as housemates, which is a different kettle of fish...
Gina and Dexter suddenly become great, Callum interesting in a fruit-loop way. Dan and the Twins just wore me down and became very, very irritating too quickly.

to be honest, I didn't like Gina at 1st, but since the live feed, I just adore her, she is great, I don't care how much money she has, or where she lives, she is by far the best in there, I would like to see her win it with Callum 2njd.

Precisely. However their lifestyles flies in the face of the unfounded 'hatred' against Hazel for doing a lot less, in the house. Flirting with a serial cheater, who has cheated on all his long term relationships, to date.

Who is Gina, a paid layabout, to moralise on another HM, and very early on too and to then repeatedly demonise her character (mind you, in secret, in the DR) by saying the girl is evil, because of her 'eyes'?

Agree Hazel is a game player but not evil! Who would Gina have left to moan about if she left this week? good television though..

Hi,

I hope you don't mind my pointing out a little mistake, (that is very commonly made). You can't infer to someone, you can imply. Then someone can infer (deduce or take) something from what you have said/written. I'm not trying to be the 'grammar police' and hope that you don't take offence as none is intended.

Perhaps the fact that he'd turned things around, and was helping others do the same, is part of the reason he was second?

It's more difficult to judge just on what happens in the house for some HMs than others.

You are right, in future all HMs should be bankrupts and beggars off the street.

Or, and here's a radical idea, HM's who's lives and experiences we can relate to in some way. Why should it have to be one extreme or the other?

In any case, you've totally missed the OPs point.

Nail on head!!

Modern BB viewers now arn't interested in their sense of values being vindicated and justice to pull through in the end..

they have an unempatheitc distanced view and are just interested in being entertained no matter if anyone has to pay...reminds me of the roman colleseum or a french beheading..

(I am aware this sounds over dramatic!)

I didn't miss anything.

OP does not like either Gina or Dexter so started a thread just to say nasty things about them dressed up as a complaint that they have wealth.

I know people hate being told anything on a forum that is, after all, here just for entertainment, but today I just thought 'what the heck'. I've seen it said so many times and just thought for once I would try to help, even if it wasn't well received.

I do not 'hate' Gina or Dexter, nor would/do I personally hate anyone. My posts are in relation to the continuous onslaught of accusations made against Hazel (one member of the house) - in relation to her 'immoral' behaviour. It was the irony of the situation, I was highlighting, particularly with Gina's total obsession with this same HM, by constantly referring to her as being evil.

It is the total hypocrisy of it all.

Yes thats how you know the OP hates Gina and Dexter, that he overlooked Sam to Bash Gina and Dexter. Its pathetic really is.

What makes it worse is that these types of people like the op only moan but don't vote to save their faves. Yet has ago at other people fans cause they do vote to save their fave.

Why can ye not discuss the topic raised, rather than the poster? Some people don't like Hazel, some people don't like Gina, some people don't like Dexter. They're all allowed to post threads so long as the subject is related to the show and this seems a perfectly valid topic to discuss.

When you make a thread bashing either Dex or Gina its clear you hate them. ypu posts do the talkng. So saying to don't like them your only lying to yourelf.

I would if the topic was sensible and not the same person bashing someone for the sake of it and its the same people over and over and over again.
