It's got to the stage now where every time he goes near Charlie I know he has one thing on his mind: how much physical contact he can make whether it be a touch, a message, a hug, hand stroking etc.
But I'll focus on hugs because that's when he's at his most transparent.
Like when Charlie was between Callum & Sam lying on the bed in the SH and he took the opportunity to announce a group hug which got swiftly rebuffed.
Or when Charlie was upset (cant remember why) and she went off with Hazel to the garden and he hovered about and moved to Charlie trying to sneak one in, arms spread like a moron whilst Charlie was ignoring him and finally shooed him away.
And finally after the letters from home Callum, sensing an opportunity and with some half-baked excuse (do tell if anyone can remember), went for the hug and got his fix once more.
