Opportunist Callum and hugs.

It's got to the stage now where every time he goes near Charlie I know he has one thing on his mind: how much physical contact he can make whether it be a touch, a message, a hug, hand stroking etc.

But I'll focus on hugs because that's when he's at his most transparent.

Like when Charlie was between Callum & Sam lying on the bed in the SH and he took the opportunity to announce a group hug which got swiftly rebuffed.

Or when Charlie was upset (cant remember why) and she went off with Hazel to the garden and he hovered about and moved to Charlie trying to sneak one in, arms spread like a moron whilst Charlie was ignoring him and finally shooed him away.

And finally after the letters from home Callum, sensing an opportunity and with some half-baked excuse (do tell if anyone can remember), went for the hug and got his fix once more.

If I was in there I would ask him to kindly respect my personal space.

Charlie seems to encourage it sometimes, I think she likes the attention..stupid girl!

YES!! I'm a woman and his oppo-hugs are blatantly obvious, even when there's no justifiable reason. Even in a hothouse, tactile atmosphere, he's constantly JUST looking for A Chance to rub against her. Contrast with Dexter who had to be 'forced' to hug her in the shower [by nasty Hazel in hopes Charlie'd get into A Situation similar to her own SH one??] and his Romantic Date just had a body free peck on her cheek..... Callum's slimy. [why is there no Emoticon for 'shudders'??]

I think the same, she's revelling in it.

hazel is the one with the body thrust hugs, Callum must have been watching her

Charlie lets him massage her, lets him hug her and shows no sign of not being entirely comfortable with his attention. If SHE thought he was slimy and creepy, she'd keep away from him. Simple.

His hugs are sooo long like he doesn't want to let go. He's forever trying to touch Charlie what with his hugs, massages, kisses. When he randomly started to massage Charlie's feet when they were hanging over the bath tub in the safe house, it's just like any opportunity to touch her.

I am sure if Charlie didn't like it and encourage it he would stop. Some make it sound like he is doing it against her wishes and from what I see he is not.

exactly, if she didn't want his attention she should tell him straight, but she likes it, as it cause's friction between him and Dexter, and puts her in the centre of it all.

Whenever he's standing near her his arms are on 'hug standby', slightly raised from his sides and slightly curved, ever ready

He sometimes gets a little extra, a sneaky shoulder kiss.

He's tried his hardest to get something going with Charlie. I've heard him say that everybody loves watching a romance in the house. Wrong Callum.

Yes! That's what I meant by 'arms spread like a moron.' Hug standby, brilliant

Yes.
That's it exactly.
Out of interest I'd like to know if his fans are in general male or female.

Oh yes it's just so obvious isn't it. Occasionally - just occasionally mind, he is rebuffed, but most of the time Charlie laps up the attention and it is just so annoying.

I cringe though, when she's speaking to someone else and Callum watches from afar, then goes in for the hug in order to 'get his possession' back, and is rebuffed because his timing is so off. That's when he's at his most cringeworthy.

Imagine if Charlie agreed to date him when they left the BB house - the relationship would be SO suffocating.

Loving the phrase "hug standby", because that's exactly what it is !

When he actually gets a hug, he holds her for an uncomfortable amount of time, IMO.

I donīt think thatīs anyoneīs business but Charlies. If she doesnīt want to be near him she just has to tell him. Are you personal offended because he hugs her? I donīt get it.

I am not sure I am a fan, I just feel sorry for him being spoken about like he is some sort of monster. He is clearly not very confident, has read a lot of self help books (lot of his sayings are straight off the pages) and is trying to be liked. He is at heart a nice guy but also a people pleaser and he wants to please everyone. He will I am sure eventually work out that isn't possible but he is not a monster for not being quite sure of himself.

Lol!!! Oh course it's our business. It's a reality game show that we are all watching and are supposed to form opinions on so that we can vote.

It's like saying "it's no ones business who wins the Grand Prix / football /Olympics".

Why are you watching or commenting on the show?

If Charlie doesn't want physical contact with him she should tell him so. I guess it suits her to keep this ridiculous triangle going.

not so much a monster but he's coming across as a bit of a perv imo

Yes I think all the 'monster' and 'serial killer' posts are way over the top.

Callum comes across to me as a bit of a pest that won't take no for an answer, someone who is controlling, manipulative and completely obsessed. He's an awkward nuisance with no social skills IMO, that's all.
