BB producers have a responsibility to represent housemates fairly!

By this, I mean that the producers have a responsibility to show both sides of all housemates.

Take for example, Gina and Hazel.

Gina: The last few nights, BB has given Gina a purposely bad edit. But for every single bad thing Gina does, she does ten other good things, such as on live feed. I feel that it's unfair to paint someone as something they are not, and this leads me onto the other person.

Hazel: I think it's disgraceful how BB are trying to depict this girl. On LF, she seems like a lovely sweet girl who you could get on well with on the outside, but BB are painting her as an home wrecker.

BB should show all sides to their characters, and not just the bad things they do. For instance, an housemate could have been positive and happy all day, then they say one bad thing and that's all that's shown. Don't get me wrong, BB doesn't put words into their mouth, nevertheless they have a responsibility to ensure viewers get to see all the sides to their characters.

Sam: Sam never has a bad edit whereas on the LF, he can come across bitchy at times, and this is never shown on the HLs.

I just think the public should know what they are voting for.

Other notable mentions: Dexter and Callum.

Legally they can do what they want when they want and HMs have signed a contract to let them.

No it's not fair at all in fact it's disgusting how some are edited badly or some left out completely like they are not there, but you won't get them on any legal grounds.

Channel 5 wanted another TOWIE type scripted show to attacked the lucrative younger market. They haven't managed to attract that market en mass but are still editing it all to storylines that they want and invent.

Will they ever change? No as this the the type of show they want to produce and feel that they are doing the right thing and don't give a damn if people don't like it.

since when? they have never done it, that's why live feed is necessary, so we can judge for ourselves.

Its true enough. All programme makers have a duty to portray things in a truthful manner. Remember the bru-ha-ha over the Queen walking in backwards which made her attitude look very different to the reality. There have been a number of incidents in recent years in which programmes have been alleged or found to have used editing to portray something quite different to the truth.

Problem is who is going to challenge it?
