Hazel did cry, yes, we all saw tears in her eyes. I suppose Gina saw what she wanted to see; or to be precise, Gina is under the impression that Hazel is extremely unpopular, and that she is fair game at the moment.

They probably asked Gina a question like, "Did you see Hazel cry". "Why don't you think Hazel cried?" haha

Usually when they get the letters from home it makes them all realise that even their worst enemies in there are human , have families etc.
it's a sobering moment for them .

not for Gina , just another opportunity for her to stick the knife in , she thinks she's talking to 'her public' now , the cheers have gone to her head .

Anyway, Gina and Hazel have started to get on better lately, going halves on fags, talking about not given your all to a man to avoid heartbreak, which they both agree on. They were talking/laughing about the baby chick on LF and Hazel wanted Gina's advise on the Cucumbergate etc.

Since Gina has been sleeping in the bed next to Hazel, they are slowly getting to know each other. Which I think is good, since they both dislike each other. I think they have more in common than they realise.

Hazel only cried a tiny bit though after her letter was read out. Gina must have been talking about when the letter was being read out to her, which is when she didn't cry.

Yes they have been getting along better face to face but then Gina slags her off behind her back. That was proven with her diary room rants about Hazel and when she called her a "biatch" on live feed the other night. She is just a 2 faced, horrible, spoilt little girl.

They tolerate each other but there's no love lost between them. The difference is Hazel is now on her best behaviour after hearing Gina's fantastic reception a couple of weeks ago. Even though Hazel is trying her best the odd bitchy comment about Gina does still slip from her lips when her guard is down.

She DID cry, but after her letter was read out and it was only a tiny bit. You are right about people dealing with things differently though. Some just behave like drama queens when it comes to emotion. I thought Hazel handled the reading out bit well.
