Apparently backstabbing is the work of the devil according to this forum and being able to confront people head on is a good thing..

Correct. the obsession with back stabbing or being real is silly, they would be very weird if they didn't talk about each other to each other, it is after all the thing they have in common to discuss.

No its not good to always say things to peoples face.
[LIST][*]Sometimes the issue is yours so telling another person they are annoying you is pointless. Yeah, but it always pays to check you've disconnected from the answerphone before you start calling someone a F W.
As one local tradesman found out last week when I played it back to him ....

It also depends what you define as back stabbing. If someone is saying negative things behind someone back in order to try and influence someone elses opinion then it could be viewed as sneaky, and snidey.

Depends how you say it to their face though.

If you have a mate who smells, just say.

Do you not saying anything but talk to another mate about it behind their back. or do talk to that mate in a gentle way and explain to them so they know your a real friend.

It depends on the tone you take with what you need to say.
