I don't know what his qualifications are but he does put me in mind of an ex boyfriend.
The guy I dated looked good on paper, right age, good looking, shared some of my interests and had a double first in Maths from Cambridge.
The first date was odd but i concluded it was down to me. So I saw him again. The second date was bizarre and intriguing so I saw him a few more times over a period of 4 or 5 weeks. I dined out on the stories for months.
He was very clever - in maths! but totaly devoid of social skills. The results were spectacular. He had been arrested in the USA and held in gaol for 3 days as a result of a misunderstanding with a US police officer on a greyhound bus. He was arrested and charged here for computer hacking - later relaeased without charge.
His experiences in the workplace were chequered to say the least. He would just keep getting it wrong.
He had been brainwashed by some sort of Christian sect and had some very odd views about women and the relationship between men and women. Sex before marriage was unacceptable(so the aim was to marry as soon as possible to anyone who would have him so his libido could be serviced - legitimised sex being what a wife was for!) but manual stimulation was OK, as for his reaction to oral sex - lets not go there.
I spent each of our meetings with my jaw dropping to the floor every few minutes. I couldn't believe what he said sometimes. Yet he wasn't a bad or horrible person. It was more like dating a lost little boy. Part of me wanted to reach out and help him and the rest of me just did this
