Just asking for a bit of advice really, the internet in my area is pretty poor, ranges from 0.5-3Mbps. I am able to play online quite happily on xbox live, never have lag issues

Would this speed also be suitable for streaming Netflix, not talking HD just standard. As I figured surely if its possible to play online it would take the same speed for streaming.

Apologises if this has been asked before

Should be ok, from Netflix:

0.5 Megabits per second - Required broadband connection speed
1.5 Megabits per second - Recommended broadband connection speed
3.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for DVD quality
5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality
7.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for Super HD quality
12 Megabits per second - Recommended for 3D quality

My speed varies between 3 and 7 although when the weather is bad it goes down to 2. I'm tethering my Samsung Smart TV to my mobile as I'm in a static caravan in the middle of nowhere. I find the picture is great and very rarely goes bad.
