Give Dermot the show, he would give it a bit of credibility, which is sadly lacking at the moment.
Davina has passed her 'Sell By Date' and should just go back into obscurity' That would give her time to count all that lovely money she has been given. I did not say she earned her pot of gold, as she is not a full time watcher and exists on the briefs that CH4 give her on the day of the show.

Wonder just how 'Firm' her contract really is ???????

Davina has become like a cariacature of herself, it seems to me she has stuck with the persona she had as a young interviewer but because she is now older and a mother it seems very false.

She has also become identified with Big Brother in this series as she has defended Big Brother to several exit interviewees and keeps stressing that 'we are evil'... I think this is a big mistake. She should be identifying with the viewers and asking the questions they would like to ask. I don't think 'why do you think you got X% of the vote' is a question anyone is interested in and is not going to get the contestant talking.

Looks like Dermots running away with this poll. Seems Davina has lost her touch.

Davina needs to be Davina, rather than a puppet for the Endemol production team. She is loosing credit by not being herself. I think its obvious she has been TOLD to defend BB at any cost to anyone that may have an anti-house opinion.

Dermots the same, I think his interview with JM was the most entertaining, but since this he's starting to loose it again.

For the record, my vote would be 'None Of The Above'.

I was bored yesterday afternoon, and did some channel surfing - not something I generally indulge in, and I ended up catching Davina presenting an old show on Challenge. I was amazed at how different she was!!

She was so much more relaxed and natural, it was like watching a completely different person tbh.

I had frgotten she could be like that.

Davina should go back to MTV where the louder you shout is supposed to mean the more enthusiastic you are and the questions you ask are those given by your producer before the actual meeting. Have you noticed she never really follows up on the interviewee's response butcan go off on a different tack even though it would be more interesting to unpick what has just been said.

I put that down to Davina not really knowing what has been going on in the house .... if she only watches the highlight shows, she wouldn't really know the half ...

Just like Jeremy telling everyone that Kenzie is the phantom logger .... Edemol editing

I used to like Davina but after her interview with Federico
Big brother 4 I have never liked her since.

Davina tends to sound as though she's telling the HMs off rather than giving them a chance to speak. I used to really like her and find Dermot a bit annoying, but it's the opposite now.

I'd forgotten that.

Yes, that was deeply unpleasant, but I think she may have sunk lower with the 'you only got X % ' questions whcih is a pretty cruel thing to say to someone whose while career rests on popularity with the public.

I think she lost it when Michelle in BB5 managed to stonewall her when she was trying to get her to confess to having had sex under the table. Her 'technique' was to keep asking 'But did you? You did, didn't you?'

Not massively skilled interviewing to say what she is earning.

I put davina because she is part of the furniture. She is part of BB and it would be the same without her. Even if she is incredibly annoying now

I can't see why people say that Davina is a Puppet? Just like you do what your boss tells you, Davina does what her bosses tell her - thats how it works.

You can't compare dermot to her either, he has a late night show, which is flexiable - completly the oppsite to the strict format of the most watched show centre point of the whole series.

Totally agree, the guy's an annoying space cadet. But can't want to see him interview Bez, should be reet propa gud telly that, man!

I think Dermot's the best and most sympathetic of the three (hardly a competition though ) but don't know whether he'd be "in-your-face" enough to carry the Friday night shows, he just seems too nice.

Also thought Davina was a snide cow attacking Fed on BB4, though loved her on BB1 & 2. She differs wildly for each interview and as a presenter is remarkably banal on occasions. What were her closing words tonight? "It's been surreal - Good bye!" Straight back at you, Chavina.

Davina is just dull. She's predictable and annoying.

I voted Dermot but I think he does a great job on BBLB where its more jokey and informal. Davina sometimes does a poor interview but I still think she is Big Brother.

Does Dermot do his show live?...I can't remember

but I must say I was really really impressed with the way Davina handled everything....one moment she was joking with the crowd etc...the next moment, she went live...and that is what you all saw on TV...it can't be easy to do her job.

I always thought BB wasrecorded with a delay of about 15 minutes to smooth out any probs, but no, i was amazed to see that it was virtually live...am sure the show started at 9pm, on the dot...but at the end, when they had "wrapped up" the prog the warm up guy told us to stand by, incase they needed to do anything again, as there was a 2 minute delay...but all was fine

Give Davina a break....she performs fantastically under the pressure of live television...anything could go wrong....it's not like being a News Reader where you're sitting there reading an auto-cue
