New BT Router
Can someone say if there is likely to be any advantage/improvement in Wifi coverage of changing my BT Home 3.0 for the latest one advertised on the BT website? I live in a 1930's style s/d house with high ceilings. The present router is situated adjacent to the phone line input upstairs and therefore Wifi downstairs at the furthest point from the router can be variable. For a non techy what is involved with a change over to work with existing equipment? Thanks

I've a Victorian house with thick stone walls over 3 floors and suffered the same problem. My router is on the ground floor so I solved the problem of patchy coverage upstairs by adding a WiFi extender.
Some examples, http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-W...eless+extender http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-W...eless+extender http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edimax-EW-72...eless+extender |
