Does Overplay.net have any easy access site?
I recently signed up for Overplay after following the goings on in the Premier League thread on here and I'm thinking about signing up for the EPL season on Al Jazeera but there are a couple of things about Overplay that are irritating me when comparing to Unblock-Us
On Unlbock-Us there was an easy access mobile site (m.unblock-us.com) that allowed you to check your service and change your Netflix region. I can't seem to find a similar thing for Overplay - does it exist? This is especially important as my ISP (Sky) frequently change my IP address preventing things like Netflix and iPlayer from working when going through Overplay's DNS servers - it just makes it a bit fiddlier to have to go into the site on a laptop/desktop to update the details. Or do Sky offer fixed IP addresses?! |

You click My Account, then the DNS Server button and there's a drop down for Netflix regions.
When your IP is changed - any attempt to access their geo sites ( even BBC ) will have a simple message "your IP address has changed. Click here to update" click that link and overplay will register your new IP address.

I get that bit, but what I meant was that it is a bit fiddly to access that on a phone, and its inconvenient to fire up the laptop to update my IP address on the overplay site.
Do they not have a m.overplay.net type site to give easier access? |

Do they not have a m.overplay.net type site to give easier access? I agree that their website is not the slickest, but the service itself is excellent, and very good value. |

Don't think they have a mobile site... I think. And yes unblock-us was easier to use with its mobile website.

You can enter your dyndns.org (or similar) hostname into the My Account section of the overplay.net website, and it'll automatically update your IP address for you.
Good guide at http://www.eyeondemand.com/2013/04/0...ays-smart-dns/ for doing this |
