We havent had one in a few years, I know he loves doing them, hes in nearly all of them since 2007, he is a happy person, and can't wait for his work to show,
He will most likely do this again,

Anyone else looking forward to this?

I think Newman was shy, I barely heard her speak!

Oh I hope so, I did want one for the Masoods when Zainab left- maybe they will do one for the Beales now that they are rebuilding that clan?

I hope so, I love the Beale/Fowler history, you don't see families like them anymore, We need more gatherings in that house,
Bianca and Ian should finally be developed, they need to make amends!

They missed a few opportunities on a few arrivals and exits,

Sharon return special would have been refreshing,

The Beales are by far my favourite family and I hope DTC can recapture the closeness of that clan. They really need a matriarch and I think Sharon would be perfect for this. I don't think Denise is with Ian in the long run because she's made it clear she wants security more than anything else (like Mandy although imo she showed more hints of feelings to Ian than Denise).

I'm quite surprised that they didn't do a 'Sharon Rickman Returns' special

I hope Sharon comes back strong under DTC.

Letitia wanted Sharon to be a kind of Matriarch on her return but that has been ignored.

Mine too, they ruled the Square way before the Mitchells showed up,
Everyone liked the Beale family,

How did you feel about Jane and Ian? I think she was the best thing that ever happen to him, because she actually loved him for him, not for security or money, she loved his kids like they were her own, and they have been together far longer than any other Ian marriages!

We know you do. How many threads have you made on it already?

I might surprise some people here but I actually loved Jane and Ian, for the reasons that you stated. Despite their many issues, they were well suited. Ian has always had a bit of an Oedipus complex as well and Jane was very similar to Kathy which is probably why they were well suited. He loved her more than most of the others.

However, I really thought that it was Mandy who could have been his true love and they had quite an unorthodox relationship that could easily have worked out. She also brought out the fun side to Ian which had been missing for a long time and he showed her more respect than the others (except for Denise though I imagine this will change). And he canged her, from the teenage tearaway he once despised to the mature but still feisty older woman he loved. I think she loved him too but she couldn't stay with him if it meant giving up his daughter

I'd like a Beale one and they could show the whole Beale (and fowler) story from 1985 with like Lou, Pete, Kathy, Ian, Pauline, Arthur, Mark, Michelle,Cindy etc and friends like Dot, Ethel, Den etc.

Definitely I think the Beales have been quite ignored in favour of the Brannings etc so it would be good to see the Beales together. I would like that Sharon's included in it as well especially regarding her friendships with Michelle and most certainly Ian.

I hope so! I like David Wicks! Or how about a Peggy Mitchell one when she returns in September? #Exciting

I'd rather EE Revealed returned as a weekly magazine style programme on BBC3 - it could be live to feature a phone in with a cast member at the end of each episode, and include interviews, behind the scenes clips, archive lookbacks, "coming up next week" etc etc

I don't think it's the EP's decision to have the Revealed shows. It would ultimately be down to the big boss at BBC3. Unfortunately, I'm almost certain I read an article about 2 years ago saying they had no intention of carrying on with them. Odd considering the EE repeats are probably the highest rated show on the whole channel - and I'm sure the majority of viewers would rather watch a Revealed show than some of those dire sitcoms they commission.
