I pre-ordered this album and it arrived (or whatever the term is!) last night. Not yet had a chance to listen in full apart from the first few tracks and I bought it on the basis of liking "Attracting Flies" and "You Know You Like It". I'm a fairly new fan - only really started to like those songs a month or so ago and can't remember where I first heard of them.

Has anyone else bought it? How are you finding the album so far? I'm a bit concerned it might be a bit 'samey'... but I'm going listen to it all in full later whilst doing some chores, though I find it takes quite a few listens of an album before you get to know whether you like the songs unless a few jump out right away.

Just interested to hear other opinions/thoughts. I noticed that one of the songs (Kaleidoscope Love) is now an iTunes song of the week, so I guess they're trying to promote the album or pick up newer fans.

I've been dying for this album for ages!! I had to have the physical and I had to have the deluxe as well, I was reluctant to buy online as the last CD I bought online took two weeks to come, so I ended up paying €19 for it

I love AlunaGeorge's sound as a whole but I have to agree that it gets a bit samey across 19 tracks. It's absolutely lush though, really really good.

Out of the new tracks that I hadn't heard, Lost & Found, Diver, Bad Idea, This is How We Do It are the best among Your Drums, You Know You Like It and Attracting Flies (best song of 2013 imo).

I've been a fan for about a year now, ever since I heard the likes of You Know You Like It and Your Love, Your Drums.

As for the album, Aluna's voice grated on me after a while and I couldn't help but feel that George should have done more with the songs, made them meatier and bigger.

It's a solid albums with a few stand outs but I wasn't as blown away as I would have liked to have been (I'm hoping I don't feel the same about CHVRCHES album).

I've streamed several songs from the album I liked Just A Touch, Superstar, Attracting Flies and You Know You Like It the best. Haven't heard any of the others. I'll definitely download Kaleidoscope Love later.

I love 'You Know You Like It' and 'White Noise', and 'Attracting Flies' is alright, but I couldn't listen to a whole album by these, the girl's voice begins to grate after a while.

I love this album and really am enjoying it. It's really consistent and whilst toward the end of the album it does start to tire overall it's a really great debut and shows they have real promise and will probably grow over the course of records.

Very good album and well worth the wait, every track's different enough but flow into each other nicely.

Sadly, I agree!

I have been a fan for ages and have loved everything they've put out but for some reasons the album doesn't do it for me

I reckon if the albums was only 10 songs long and they only put out 2 singles pre-release it would have been different, unfortunately the album is very indulgent

Individually, most of the songs are strong, outlines and lost and found in particular. I just don't think they are very versatile....
