Strange experience with Vodafone
I'm on a contract with Vodafone, I normally pay them on or around the 24th of each month. This month the money was taken out of my account as usual but it was then put back into my account. Now I don't know why this happened as I had more than funds to cover it. Anyway I have checked my bank account this morning and I have noticed that the money has now been taken out by Vodafone today with no late charges slapped on.
Can anyone give me an explanation as to why they would take the money out of my account and then put it back into my account?. I'm lucky that I checked my bank account when I did as I don't normally do this and I'm also thankful that I haven't incurred late payment fee's so I'm guessing it was something going on at Vodafone's end. |

I did and the lady told me that Vodafone do this, she told me the reason why, but I could hear her clearly as it was a bad line.

I think Vodafone are the only people that can explain how their billing system works, particularly why this would happen. I'd give them a call and ask again and say you're still puzzled.

This is a bit of a strange one. If you'd like me to take a closer look at things could you email me with your details via the Contact us form here and quote the code WRT135 - FAO Lee in the subject line? Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible? Kind regards, Lee Web Relations Vodafone UK |
