It's back! After a short break, I have decided to restart my fantasy EastEnders. In the couple of weeks since my last episode was posted, I have been secretly planning this. Hopefully it will be better than my last attempt! A couple of announcements made in my previous attempt will be carried through to this one.

WALFORD GAZETTE

Zoe Slater recast, returning at Christmas
Spoiler

Masood family to leave ‘EastEnders’
Spoiler

David Wicks to return to ‘EastEnders’
Spoiler

These announcements are the only things linking the two versions, for example in this version Peter will be straight, the big cast cull hasn't happened (yet!), Scarlett hasn't been kidnapped and Ronnie hasn't returned yet.

Episodes will be set from September onwards, and the first one should be up later on in the week.

As all the other announcements in this thread have been copied over from the old version, here are a couple of new ones.

Peggy Mitchell to return full time to 'EastEnders'
Spoiler

'EastEnders': Three new characters announced

Monday 2nd September 2013 | Max has a proposition for Joey | 6.1 million viewers
Lucy suggests to Janine that they do a Full Monty strip show charity event to raise money for charity. Janine tells Lucy that if she wants to donate to charity so much she should donate out of her wages. Lucy argues that hosting a Full Monty will also bring business to the bar as lots of people from outside the Square would come. Janine agrees to give Lucy the go ahead, but tells her if it fails she will be sacked. Joey walks in and Lucy puts his name down to be one of the strippers. Joey refuses at first, but Janine tells him that if he doesn’t sign up they’d end up with a Full Monty cast of Patrick, Billy, Phil and Alfie. Joey reluctantly agrees.

Elsewhere, Abi is delighted when Lauren calls her and tells her that she’s thinking about leaving the clinic early and returning to the Square. Abi excitedly tells Max and Cora. Cora suggests throwing Lauren a welcome home party but Max shoots down the idea, saying it will only bring attention to Lauren’s problem. Max suggests that they could have a family meal instead, just the four of them. Abi suggests that they should also invite Joey, however Max has other ideas and tells Abi and Cora that he doesn’t want Joey anywhere near his daughter.

Kat is struggling to cope with the news of Alfie's and Roxy’s engagement, so shares her concerns with
Kirsty in the Vic. Kirsty tells Kat to give Roxy a chance, saying that she’s not as bad as Kat makes out. Kat tells Kirsty that Roxy broke up her marriage, but Kirsty is quick to point out she did that herself by sleeping with Derek.

Lucy goes to the café where she finds Jack reading his paper. She sits down beside him and tells him that they’re going to be doing a Full Monty event at R&R and she wants him to be one of the strippers. Jack turns her down, saying he’s too old to be stripping off, but Lucy tells Jack it’s for charity and if he didn’t he’d be letting the charity down. Jack agrees to do it on one condition, she leaves him alone. Lucy is delighted and gives Jack a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

Bianca is forced to pocket the takings for the stall as the kids go back to school tomorrow and she hasn’t bought them any uniforms yet. Tamwar watches her and goes over, Bianca begs Tamwar to keep it a secret from Kat as she needs the money for her kids.

Max meets Joey in the car lot and hands him an envelope. Joey looks inside and there is a wad of cash. Max tells Joey that there’s one grand in the envelope. Max says that Lauren is coming home and when she returns he doesn’t want Joey anywhere near her. Joey tells Max he’s having a laugh if he thinks he’ll be bought off.

Doof doof: Max Branning
“I’m being serious mate, a grand to leave the Square Think about it, Joey.”

Tuesday 3rd September 2013 | Denise catches Alice shoplifting | 6.3 million viewers
Joey sits at the kitchen table in his boxers, staring at the wad of cash that Max gave him last night. Alice comes downstairs and Joey quickly attempts to hide the envelope, however Alice catches him and demands to know what’s going on. Joey tells Alice that Max has given him a grand to leave the Square, but he doesn’t know what to do. Alice demands that Joey gives Max the cash back and stay put on the Square, but Joey tells Alice he’s got to consider it as one thousand pounds is a lot of money.

Tiffany comes down the stairs in her school uniform, her skirt is too small for her as she Bianca hasn’t had time to buy the kids any new school uniform. Bianca sends Tiffany off to school, telling her it’ll be fine, but once she’s gone Bianca breaks down in tears.

In the Beale household, tensions are high as Ian tries to convince Lucy and Peter to come on holiday with him, Bobby and Denise. Lucy refuses, telling Ian that he knows she wants nothing else to do with him. Ian tells Lucy that if she wants to ignore him, she can get out of his house. Lucy protests, but Ian tells here that if she doesn’t try and make an effort she has to leave. Lucy shouts at Ian, telling him he can’t chuck her out if she leaves of her own accord and storms out. Peter races out after her. Denise tells Ian that making Lucy homeless will only make things worse.

Kat receives a letter from the prison that Ronnie is staying in. When she opens it, she sees that it’s a visiting order to see Ronnie. Kat is confused about what to do, so goes over to the Vic to see Roxy and Alfie.

Michael goes to pick Scarlett up from Janine, planning to take her on a picnic. However, when he arrives at Janine’s he sees Janine loading Scarlett into Danny’s car. When Michael asks Janine what she’s doing and tells her it’s his day to look after Scarlett, Janine tells Michael there’s been a change of plan and she and Danny are going to take Scarlett to the Zoo instead. Michael tries to grab Scarlett from the car but Janine stops him. Michael stands infront of the car so that they can’t leave, but Danny just drives the car at him almost running Michael over as they speed off.

Alice goes into the Minute Mart and sees that Denise is serving Max. Thinking Denise is distracted, Alice goes and grabs a bottle of wine, planning to impress Michael. She slips it into her bag, but as she turns to exit she notices that Max has left the shop and Denise is standing behind her with her arms crossed.

In the Vic, Kat tells Roxy that Ronnie wants to see her in prison. Roxy tells Kat to go upstairs, noticing Kim trying to nosy into the conversation. Once upstairs, Roxy tells Kat that she should go and talk to Ronnie one to one, adding that it will be easier for her to talk to Ronnie in prison than it will be once she’s released.

Denise grabs the bottle from Alice’s bag and asks her what she thinks she was doing. Alice protests her innocence, saying that she didn’t put the bottle in there, but Denise tells Alice she watched her with her own eyes. Alice then admits that she was going to steal it.

Doof doof: Alice Branning
“I don’t know what came over me, I just grabbed the bottle and took it!”

Great episodes!
I've really enjoyed them

I'm looking forward to Katie as the Zoe Slater recast.
She was amazing as Morgana in Merlin.

Glad Peggy and David are returning full time!!
Have you got any storyline ideas for the likes of Poppy, Peter and Abi?

Thursday 5th September 2012 | Joey prepares to leave the Square | 6.2 million viewers
Denise goes to visit Alice to get to the bottom of her shoplifting. Alice confides in Denise, and tells her that the shoplifting started after her Dad died. When Denise asks Alice if that means she’s done it before, a teary Alice admits she’s done it countless times before. Denise then asks Alice if she’s ever stolen from the Minute Mart before, and Alice confesses that she has. Alice leads Denise to the cupboard under the stairs, where Denise is shocked to find hundreds of items. Denise is shocked, but tells Alice she’ll keep her secret if she stops shoplifting. Alice says she will and thanks Denise for understanding.

Lucy sees Fatboy in the café and asks him to take part in the Full Monty strip in the R&R. Fatboy refuses, saying that he would find it disrespectful to take his clothes off for other women and that Poppy would be upset. Poppy walks into the café and Lucy asks her is she would mind, Poppy says she wouldn’t and tells Lucy that Fatboy would love to do it. Fatboy protests again, saying he’s shy, but Lucy is having none of it and puts his name down.

Joey goes to visit Max in the car lot and tells him he’s made a decision, he’ll take the money and leave the Square. Max tells Joey that he’s made the right decision and he’s happy that Joey knows it’s best for Lauren. Max tells Joey that he will pay him an extra £500 if he leaves the Square by tomorrow, and Joey agrees.

As Lola takes Lexi out for a walk in her pram with Billy, the pram collapses. Lola is upset as it was an expensive pram and asks Billy if they can buy another one. Billy tells her that they don’t have enough money to afford a new pram, but Lola gets upset as she feels that the other mums at the playgroup will think she’s a bad mother for not having a pram. Not wanting for Lola to be upset, Billy tells her that he’ll see what he can do.

Joey packs a bag and gets prepared to leave the Square.
Joey goes to the Minute Mart to buy a paper for the journey, but as he goes to pay for the paper, Denise says she’s surprised he’s not just stolen it. When Joey asks her what she means, Denise backtracks and says she was joking, but Joey can see she’s lying and presses her for answers. Denise admits that Alice has been shoplifting.

Doof doof: Joey Branning
"What you talking 'bout? Alice would never do something like that, she's a good girl."

Friday 6th September 2013 | Max and Sharon grow closer | 6.4 million viewers
Joey storms over to the Vic where he finds Alice having a drink with Michael. Joey asks Michael if he knows about Alice’s dirty little habit. Michael tells Joey that he has no idea what he is talking about, so Joey announces to Michael, as well as everyone else in the Vic, that Alice has been shoplifting. Alice bursts into tears and Alfie tells Joey to leave.

Kat goes to see Jack to see how he is feeling about Ronnie’s impending release. Jack tells Kat that he still loves Ronnie, but he doesn’t know if he can ever trust her again. He also tells Kat that he went to go visit Ronnie in prison. Kat asks Jack if Ronnie was the reason Jack called off his wedding to Sharon, and Jack says it is. Kat reveals that Ronnie wants her to visit her in prison but she doesn’t know if she should go. Jack tells Kat that it will be her last opportunity to talk to Ronnie before Ronnie is released from prison, and she should take it.

Sharon notices a for sale sign being put up outside Booty’s. She goes over to number 5 and knocks on the door. There is no reply, so she starts to walk away. The door opens and an unshaven Max steps out. He invites Sharon inside to talk.

Billy begs Janine for his old job back, as it payed better than the job he is in now after being demoted by Janine. Janine tells Billy that Danny is much better at the job than he was, and she’d be foolish to fire Danny so that Billy could have his job back. Billy begs Janine, telling her he needs the money to buy a new pram for Lexi, but Janine tells him that Lexi isn’t her problem.

Joey arrives back at the house and looks under the stairs and, like Denise said, finds a stash of stolen goods. He cannot believe that Alice has been stealing, and decides he needs to stick around for Alice’s sake.

At Max’s, Sharon tells Max that Booty's has been put up for sale. Max tells Sharon that Tanya has rang him and told him that she isn’t going to return to the Square as she has been offered a new job near the clinic where Lauren is. Max says that he blames himself for Lauren’s drinking. Sharon tells Max that it isn’t his fault and she knows what he’s going through. When Max asks how Sharon knows what it feels like, Sharon confesses that she sat back and watched her mum Angie drink herself to death. Sharon tells Max that it’s too late to help her mum, but Lauren can still be saved. Max leans in for a kiss, and Sharon responds.

Doof doof: Max Branning
“Let’s take this upstairs…”

A brilliant first set of episodes. The plotlines seem to run seamlessly with each other, and the new casting is bound to work extremely well. Keep up the good work!

Once Abi has gone, Coraasks Max what he thinks he is doing sleeping with Tanya’s best friend. Max says that it was just a one off, and Cora tells Max that that makes it even worse. Cora tells Sharon she expected it from Max but she is disgusted that Sharon would betray her own best friend. Sharon tells Cora that it was an accident. Cora asks Max if they used a condom and Max says they did. Cora says it must have been a well prepared accident if they had time to use protection. Cora tells Sharon to leave, but Max intervenes and tells Cora that it’s his house and if she
doesn’t like it, she should leave.

Abi goes to the garage and meets Jay, Dexter and Lola. Abi tells Jay that she’s fed up of living with her Dad and asks if she can move in with him. Jay tells Abi there’s barely enough room as it is. Bianca tells Tiffany not to shout at her, and Tiffany tells Bianca she’ll do what she wants. Bianca tells Tiffany that she’s taking her back to school and grabs her arm. As Bianca grabs Tiffany’s arm, Tiffany’s jumper sleeve rolls up to reveal a huge bruise.
