BT Sport Player
Thought I would start this new topic to discuss specific issues with the BT Sport Player without it being swamped by discussion on other ways of getting BT Sport and details of programming such as the minutiae of football game picks which dominate the main thread.
Two initial issues I have found 1) The picture and sound on Watch Now streams is choppy which is not good and makes them barely watchable, The Video streams are fine which indicates that the problem is not at my end. 2) On the Video streams there is no play control bar when watching full screen which means going back to window mode to do something then switch back to full screen. Clunky or what? On the plus side for those complaining of lack of mulit-room it seems you can watch different streams on different devices around the house. Final comment: When can we expect a mobile app for Windows phones? |

lol it says I don't have BT Broadband when I try and get access to the online app!
I wonder then who I've been paying my broadband charges to, and why have I got a BT Homehub 4 if I have no BT BB? |

What happens when you log in? I assume you *have* a BT login?

Tip for Apple iOS BT Sports app users. Change your devices clock to 24 hour mode to make the stream work.
I read this tip elsewhere as I had got BT Sport app streaming working on my i pad which was already set to 24 hour mode but it refused to stream on my i phone4. Changing the settings as above and my i phone streamed straight away. |

I had the same problem, now resolved by finding this on BT forum http://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Sport/...nt/td-p/950444 Make sure your telephone number is on your profile, and it should work(mine was originally blank). It did for me, as soon as I inserted my telephone number, and retried. |

Not sure if this will help you as I don't have the 4s but Airplay works with BT app, ATV and iPad3.

Final comment: When can we expect a mobile app for Windows phones? Look at the BT Sport forum on their community forums and there are shed loads of customers that can't even watch it. Plenty of opinions of what's wrong (some think it's the DRM feature) but not much input from BT. |
