Many K700i questions (and one P900 question).
Hiya,
Now, I have recently purchased a bargain from eBay - a K700i... First up, how much are Bluetooth dongles, as I bought one for my previous phone - a 3650; can I use that with the K700i, or as one is SE and the other was Nokia, do I need to buy a specific SE one - baring in mind I havent tried the BT on it yet. Secondly, is it true that the K700i has a 1.2 MP camera ; as I am wondering why the picture quality is so good - the quality of the pictures are of amazing quality. Thirdly, do I have to use Quicktime for movie playback? As, like with my relatives P900, I had to go and change the default player of those kinds of movies to QT, as it wouldn't play in anything else. P900 question: What is the MP on that? Cheers, Alex |

My Dongle cost me £9.99 off ebay, yes you can use it with a K700i
The K700i doesn't have a 1.2mp camera it is a VGA, the camera in my opinion is just okay on the phone if you download them onto your PC the pictures are very grainy, not good at all, as regard to night shots don't bother even with the light on they're really bad quality, the Nokia 6230 takes better quality pictures & are far better than the K700i when put on a PC The rest of the phone is alright. I belive that the K700i has a camara over 1meagapixial but this is only atchived by softwear on the phone, when it is not really a "true" meagapixial camara.
On your computre you can play your videos using real player, once you have let it do an update. |

Is it possible to transfer mpeg's from a computer to the K700i and then play them?
I have tried it and failed, but then may just be me, or I just don't know what to do. JC |

I transfer clips on to mine by first converting them to mp4, using mpegable x4 live, try searching for it on google.

for picture, i can make it go all the way upto 1280x960 (in terms of resolution), which clearly makes it higher than VGA
