O2 X3 and SD card - help wanted

My daughter has just bought an O2 X3 phone. I'm not familiar with the storage device it uses. Can the mini SD card be used in the multi-slot card readers that are available for camera flash-memory cards?

PS anyone know who this phone is made by?

The O2 X3 is a rebranded BenQ s700

MiniSD cards are just that mini SD cards, though the dimensions of the gold connectors are different so they can't be used on readers that just accept SD cards (unlike the RS-MMC cards which are just shorter versions of MMC cards).

You can get multi card readers that do accept them, but it's worth checking first so as not to get it stuck in the reader or anything.

when a new mini sd card is purchased, you get an adapter with it. you put the mini sd inside the adapter. it is now the size of standard sd, you can read it in digital cameras and card readers etc.
Hope this helps.
