Well wasn't last week dramatic? The acts partnered up to form 5 duos, but, unbeknown to the judges the bottom duo was automatically eliminated in another shocking twist! This resulted in one of the biggest shocks of the series when Brad Shakleton and Daniel Pearce were eliminated. However, Steve used his 'Sacrifice' meaning he could substitute Brad for his last remaining act Suzie - thus she was eliminated instead.

So! With that let's welcome out acts and mentors onto the stage:

Soppyfan and the last Over:
Brad Shackleton

fireemblemcraze and the last Boy:
Jake Quickenden

EndOfSanity and the Groups:
Belle Amie
District 3
Poisonous Twins

Pingu58011 and the Girls:
Jade Ellis
Diana Vickers
Lucy Spraggan

Will we be losing a group or a girl tonight? Let's find out! This week our acts are performing a song from by an act native to Australia, USA or UK? Who picked what?!

Judges are you here?

I am here and I'm sad that I've already got one act left, but Brad is gonna give it everything he's got!

Up first it's our first girl of the night! Jade narrowly missed being eliminated last week - will she survive?

Jade
Jade, Jade, Jade. I think all of us boys wished that we were your Andre. That was a stunning performances. The chorus wasn`t the exact vocals of you, but the verses were basically you. It was a fantastic performance, and you really gave it your all. Week 5 is here now, and you have just blown everyone away my little RnB queen. You rocked it tonight Jade, and gave amazing vocals, and i could not be happier for you. The public have saved you for all these weeks, and I just hope they do it again tonight!!!

Rick:
You know what Jade, I was fully expecting to hate this song choice when I laid my eyes on it. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I actually listened to the song. It's a lovely choice for you, and I could see it fitting your tone and style pretty well. It wasn't your best performance so far in my opinion, your first few were superior in my opinion. Perhaps your mentor should try to incorporate some elements from those performances into your next one, as I'm fairly sure you'll be here next week. As for this performance, congratulations on a job well done Jade!

Roxie
That was interesting Jade, I can see your mentor wants to take you down the R&B route and I think it works for you. The song got slightly repetitive in parts but I think the song suited your style and suited that unique tone in your voice. Overall, compared to last week, I liked this much more but I think I want to see something completely unexpected from you.

Jade Ellis

Jade, well done for opening tonight's show. Last show, I believe that you raised your game hugely with the two songs, but tonight it's back to you alone again. Now I have never heard of this song before but I have to say, I found that really enjoyable and your voice was speaking volumes me. great start for tonight. Nicely done Jade, I can see you being safe again this week.

Loads of praise for Jade there! Will that be enough? Up next we have a girlband who have been dominating the leader board; will they continue their streak tonight?

Belle Amie
Belle Amie I really liked that, and it was very fun. The only problem is that I found it a bit predictable for you, as it is such a well known song. The overall performance was very good though, and your vocals were really great, and I love the harmonizes too. You obviously have a big fan base, so I am fully expecting to see you again next week!!!

Rick:
Girls, the energy we got from you during that performance was simply amazing! This was a bit of throwback to the Mini Viva song you sang earlier in the competition as that seemed popular with the voters. Also, to everyone who finds this song choice too obvious, I've listened to all of Little Boots' songs and this was the only one that I could really see working with harmonies. Anyway, this was a quite 'girlband' type of performance, which was pretty nice to see from you girls as we have not really seen you do such a thing before. Great vocals, great performance, great tune, I'm proud of you girls.

Roxie:
Wow. That was wonderful girls. I think the song really suited you. You made the chorus sound so catchy! The song itself wasn't that great - wasn't a massive fan of it. But I think you went way beyond the song, made it your own in your own way. The chorus was incredibly catchy though. And it was typical girl bandy pop. I do want to see something more outlandish from you like Jade because I do think you have so much more to give.

Belle Amie

Ooooh giiiirls, there is just no stopping you is there? The last few shows you showed off your harmonies in the ballads and now you're back to the upbeat side which I'll admit that I've missed for a while. Rick, I understand about the song choice but I will agree with Roxie, it wasn't exactly the best choice you've had compared to what you've sung so far but it was still a terrific performance and I can see you back again next week. Well done girls.

A lot of praise for the girls there! It seems they're on fire this series! Up next we have a certain blonde lass who's hoping to continue topping the board:

Diana Vickers - On the radio (By Regina Spektor) [USA] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHAhnJbGy9M
Note: Staging - Children will be stood in a row with a gap in the middle. The children will do the bababababa. When the singing starts Diana will appear from the left where she will tap children`s shoulders as she passes. She will then stand in the middle of the children and they will all move their shoulders from left to right. Diana will then start to step forward and will stand at the front for the rest of the song, while the children hold balloons, and let them go..

Diana
Diana I will listen to you on the radio any with. I picked the song because it wasn`t bland like some people said you were the other week. It was fun, and I loved the scenery. The vocals were great, and you were Mrs . Quirky, as always. You are my angel, and yet again, you have done me proud. You topped the vote last week, and I hope you can do that again, and stay in the competition!!!

Rick:
This is such a shame Diana. You see, Regina Spektor is an incredibly good choice of artist for you to sing a song from, but unfortunately she's not from the USA. According to Wikipedia, she was born in what is now Russia. The theme explicitly mentioned that we should pick song by native artists from either the UK, the US or Australia, which means your mentor violated the rules here... Back to the performance itself, it was one of your better ones in my opinion. It was a little basic, but the staging helped alleviate that a bit. Besides, it was actually very nice to see you do something different again. If you're in the bottom 2 tonight, at least it won't be because you didn't suit the song.

Roxie:
Excellent song choice by your mentor. I feel Pingu has gone in a great direction with you, it keeps us all interested while still being suitable. And I love Regina Spektor! I would have preferred other Regina Spektor songs as this is not my favourite but as I said it was incredibly suitable and I think the staging was quite quirky as well. Pingu is doing an amazing job with you! I would love to hear.

Diana Vickers

Diana, first off, I'm afraid I'll have to agree with Rick, the artist singing that song does not relate to the rules of the theme, so this one is a rule-breaker! But anyways, I'm not very sure about that staging and the performance. I really like that it showed another different side, but on the whole, I wasn't feeling the whole arrangement. For me, it wasn't a good choice and I can't see you being lucky twice after tonight's performance. Good luck with the voting, Dee.

Jordan, you have to give this a rule-breaker tag!

I thought she was American, and that is a genuine mistake. It does sort of fit the theme though because her origin is the U.S!!!

Did Rick just put a nail in Diana's coffin? Who knows. Well, you will later on but hey! Anyway up next it's the wildcard of this contest:

Poisonous Twin - Watching You by Rogue Traders (OZ)
Staging: At the start, there will be two big boombox-looking blocks on the stage as well as a boombox backdrop on the big screen. The Twins will be lowered onto these on motorbikes (with cables) from the ceiling. They will then step off their bikes and Steph will start singing. When the chorus hits, about 15 dancers will move onto the stage in front of the boombox props and will dance there for the remainder of the performances. When the bridge hits, the Twins will jump off their blocks, do a pass of the audience touching hands and will then move in front of the dancers for the final chorus. The Twins and the dancers will all be wearing leathery motorcyclist-themed clothes, with the dancers wearing black and white and the Twins having colours mixed in to stand out. The lighting for the performance is mostly orange and white.

Rick:
Aah, my big risk of the night. Girls, I absolutely adored that performance. The staging was of course stunning, and the whole performance was energetic and vibrant. It was nice to see you deviate from the usual uptempo pop a bit by singing this song, which is classified as more of an electro-pop or dance rock song. It suited you just as well though. Stephanie got the most lines in this performance simply because she has the slightly deeper vocals needed to pull this off. The choruses were good old Twins fun though, as was the bridge part. You had me swinging throughout the entire performance girls, which is something that doesn't happen too often. Well done, I really hope you're here next week as there's one song I've been wanting to use for ages now, but the themes never allow it

Roxie:
Haha! Talk about staging! I loved the staging Ė really cool and stylish. The song was great too. I actually found this song a lot more enjoyable than the Belle Amie song and I think it was because it had more attitude and more spunk. I think thatís why you edge it for me slightly over Belle Amie because you have this passion and attitude which comes across in your song choices. I really like you both! Go P Twins!

Poisonous Twin
Girls your mentor suggested this for the duet, but it didn`t suit Diana, but it was perfect for you. It was very fun, and this is the first time you have had a proper fun song, because your mentor was trying to turn you into serious contenders, and he has. That was a great song choice from your mentor, and I loved the staging with the boombox. One of your best performances I would say. Well done girls!!!

Poisonous Twin

Wow! Oh yes girls, now that's what I'm talking about! This song had everything I wanted from you which was your style, your attack and attitude. My goodness, did you give it some, there?! You've also shown what Belle Amie didn't quite pull off which was taking risks and being creative. You two girls were on top form tonight. Rick needs to keep this going cause he's doing a terrific job with you. Best performance so far!

If we want to be 100% on this although she was born in Russia she left there at a very young age (around 2-4 from what I know about her) so it could be taken either way

The Poisonous Twins continue this praise streak and get unanimous praise from the judges! Hoping she can do it as well it's Lucy Spraggan!

Lucy Spraggan - Everything at once (By Lenka) [OZ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tfy5CBfjZ8s
Note: Imagine in Lucy`s slightly deeper tone!!

Rick
Normally I'd make a remark about choosing a popular song relating to being obvious, but doing that would make me a hypocrite because I did the same for Belle Amie today. Back to your performance, I think your mentor managed to hit the mark with the general style this week, I could definitely see you releasing something like this. The vocals weren't that great of a fit though, and even imagining a deeper tone on this particular track didn't really help with that. You see, I don't think the vocals were the problem here, it's the style of singing that was. The 'Spraggan Effect' comes mainly from your very specific style of singing, which wasn't as prominent on this track. All in all, an okay performance from you. You've given worse performances in the past, but also better ones. Anyway, good luck in the voting Lucy.

Roxie
Isnít this from that advert? Itís so Windows 8 Ė they always play the best adverts! I love the song but I just donít think it was meant to be for you. I guess I donít like the direction your mentor is taking you in. Like Jade, you have this cool and quirky style and I donít think the song has done it for me. I mean the chorus itself doesnít play to that at all, it sounds more like Diana than Lucy and it shouldnít do that.

Pingu
Lucy what a perfect song for you to sing. It sounded just like you, but it was slightly higher pitched than you, and that is why I added the note. I thought you performed great tonight Lucy, and I am so proud of you. You were worrying about performing this, but you have come out here and told an amazing story to the public, and the viewers. Your vocals were stunning Mrs . Spraggan , and you have done so well in this competition, never appearing in the bottom. I just hope the public continue to support you and vote!!!

Oh no...dear Lucy! What happened with you tonight? Last show you were amazing with Belle Amie as both of the songs were brill, but this song...I just don't understand why your mentor chose that one! Like Rick said, you have done so much better than this. This was your weakest performance in the competition and I'm afraid to say that you are definitely in trouble tonight.
