Awww Emmett is beautiful about his boy Kieron, and just knows he is the best actor on the show.

Kieron's eyes are just piercing, and the tears so real.

Great acting ..... I'm watching it again about him saving up for his books when he was aged 10.

Was it the magazine or the soaps who nominated?

In 'Inside Soap' world ...... but nobody elses.

I will find it very dificult to stay loyal to HO if I vote in those awards!!

If it is the soaps then HO should be ashamed of themselves.

The Steven character Kieron and HO have created has such a lovely heart.

He loves, sometimes without reciprocation, but he still loves.

Aww Claire and Kayla

Heck .... Steven needs a bit of comfort from his Brendan after that.

That was gloriously sad and brilliant and moving. So, so amazing Kieron is. Jane and Nick are perfect too.

I'm gonna be shaking that off awhile.

Where do they pick it up?

Kieron's come so far as an actor. He was always good, but not this amazing. Since 2010 he's just got better and better. He and Emmett taught each other so much

I wonder if he thought tonight's work was better than the Stendan hospital scene, or if it's still to come. Because I still think nothing beats his acting in that.

On a shallow note, his skin was all honey coloured, and his lips were beautifully full and pouty

No end bit after the credits tonight.

They don't often do that.

As the credits rolled I was half expecting, and afraid, they would spoil it with a daft scene at the end with Paul Browning looking confused!!!

I'm guessing it was the soaps because James Atherton was in the long list for best actor at the BSAs but they can be forgiven for that because Emmett was nominated. They've nominated the same people for Inside Soap awards but Emmett's nomination has been replaced by Danny Mac

Yeah the hospital scene is still the best for me - because of how gut wrenching the sobs were. This is second best for me.

Kieron's acting with Emmett will always prevail as exemplary, they made each other react with such deep meaning and feeling, it was totally real and believable.

Ste's breathless sobbing in the hospital sounded so real .... it probably was as he knew his Embo was leaving!

He's such an imaginative actor. There are tiny things he does that are perfect, for instance when he found the cards from his dad and opened the first one, as he read the message his lips moved slightly, which told us about Ste's reading difficulty and was a childlike thing to do as he read something that he should have read when he was a child. Or tonight, when he was looking in Leah's book to choose what to read to Pauline, he nodded almost imperceptibly when he reached his decision. It's beautiful.

I thought it said a lot on Sunday when he'd asked Toby to read in the other parts as he went through his lines (off air) and when they came back on air and Kieron was his usual chirpy self, Toby asked him how he does it, meaning that he must have been Ste when he was doing his lines but switched back into Kieron afterwards. It shows that he puts the work in even when he's just learning his script.

I've still got Brendan's last episode saved on my sky planner and I'm really tempted to watch it tonight but I don't know if I'll be able to watch it without turning into an emotional mess

I've still not been able to watch any of the final week. Sarah's fic nearly broke my heart as it was such a great emotive recreation of what happened.

Off topic, but the new Doctor is going to be revealed on Sunday allegedly. A little part of me would love it to be Emmett.

I managed to watch the final week on my re-watch in April but since then I've not been able to watch past the Walker/Seamus hostage stuff. I miss Brendan so much I need Emmett to announce his film so we can have something to look forward to!
