£3 a month extra for HD if not a BT BB subscriber.

The signal is broadcast via satellite so the BB speed is irrelevant.
Thanks but on the BT Sport website it says you have BT Infinity to get it in HD?

That's if you're watching on a BT YouView box which broadcasts over the internet.

I'm rally confused about this free with BT broadband deal.

I'm a Sky subscriber and looking to change my broadband to BT. Does this mean I can get the channel for free to view through my Sky Box? Or do I still have to pay for the channel? I've seen difference answers about it only being able to view online/iPad app for free?

If you have BT Broadband it's free through the sky box and you can also view online and through the app

Yes. But it's not really 'free' as BT will more than likely charge a lot more for line rental and BB than other suppliers.

May be best to do a deal with your current supplier and buy BT sport as an add on.

It streams very well and it very good quality actually

I'm only basic broadband, so only get the online viewing, but if you just plug lapto into TV using HDMI cable, it is very clear!

Not true. If you look at the BT website you will see that their line rental is cheaper than Sky's, you will also see that their BB is just as cheap with their high speed fibre being cheaper than Sky's.

BT line rental, £15.45 or £141 annually.

Sky line rental £14.50 or £119.40 annually.

BT unlimited BB £16.

Sky unlimited BB £7.50.

I just switched from Sky to BT and BT is far more expensive but it's much better IMO, Sky just wouldn't work for me and was constantly dropping out so I had no choice but to leave

What on earth are you babbling on about? I'm not sure what BT website you've been looking at but what you said there re like rental and BB is completely wrong.

Today and for the next few weeks its liverpool sport 1

There are other teams yknow bt!
Er no it isn't. Today - Arsenal v Napoli. Tomorrow: Napoli v Porto, Arsenal v Galatasaray, Bundesliga review show. Monday: Flamengo v Atletico Mineiro, Ligue 1 Preview. Tuesday: Scottish football show.

Pretty much every one of your posts in this thread has been critical of BT, I would have thought by now you'd have enough to complain about that you didn't have to just make stuff up. Must try harder next time.

I viewed both websites a few months ago and saw that BT was cheaper. That was with the once annual cost of the line rental and BT worked out cheaper than Sky.

But I do stand corrected.

Not a Liverpool fan but hard to argue with the quality of BT's coverage this morning, very impressive.

I do like the simplicity of the graphics as well.

Their using picture in picture quite a bit early on in the match. Not exactly cutting edge but might prove useful at times - Sky tended to cut away from the action too much last season for action shots of fans/managers etc.

They showed Fletcher and Owen in vision just before kick off as well, both standing up.

They are keying in virtual advertising hoardings on the Liv v Oly game.

They look awful and are bouncing all over they place.

EDIT: The virtual advertisements are for BT Sport and Warrior Sports, who are already on the static boards, strange decision.

He said fibre, not ADSL2+. Sky fibre would still be cheaper in total but not that much cheaper.

£16 v £7.50. More than twice the price!!

Just making the point that Sky subscribers wanting BT Sport may be better going to or sticking with Sky BB, especially as Sky are currently offering free unlimited BB for Sky Sports subscribers.

£16 vs £10. You can't assume everyone has Sky TV like you derek.

Sky ADSL2+ broadband is certainly cheaper for new customers. It's a good strategy because they have far less interest in moving people to FTTC than BT do.

I think Sky removed the annual line rental option a while back, but have since reinstated it.

Watching BT sport panel its good. My only niggle I wish the cameras would stop moving though it's doing my head in. Also BT sport 1HD is still much quieter than 2 which is annoying hope they sort that.
I enjoyed the sports panel , good laugh & guests.
Dont think much of all the pre football debating.
