BT need to sort their website out then. Just had a look and it clearly says "BT Sport is free with BT Infinity and BT Broadband"
Directly underneath are the logos for the six channels, 3 SD and 3 HD. No mention of extra charge for HD. http://www.bt.com/sport/ |

Question for anyone watching - for the football today was it a seamless flow from one game discussion to another (ie from Liverpool to the next game) or did they have separate programmes? (I know they were billed separately, just wondering how it played out on screen)

They stuck to the studio show where they discussed Liverpool and Arsenal. But at one point, they did interview a rugby player and discussed about rugby. They also tried to kick a ball to like a bucket at one point.

Darke was very good as usual today - really should be clear cut no1 on BT and not rotated with Fletcher.
Wasn't impressed by Fletcher today - still needs to get out of radio mode and doesn't sound like he will have that big game authority - although willing to give him time to adjust. Very clear and not too excitable, good voice and worked well with Owen. Darke is excellent. |

Why whats he doing for the other 6 days a week.
Also 11.30 until 7 is hardly overworked!! Most do 9-5 5 days a week and still find plenty of time for the family!! |

I think we can all save our concern for Jake. He can look after himself and I get the impression he enjoys it and is being paid a shedload of money.

So far I think he's coming across as a right t*t. He wasn't this irksome on the BBC, it's like he's mainlining Sunny Delight. I hope this is just launch over-excitement and he settles down a bit.

Still don't know the name of the guy who does MNF with Gary Neville. Nor do I care. He is just there for Neville to talk to. Jake gets involved and at least tries to create a bit of a buzz. He is a complete natural. Totally suited to the informal feel that they are aiming for. |

You can't knock his passion for the game and his enthusiasm. He's not going to be everyone's cup of tea but I think he represents a fresh, young era. This is completely different to the likes of
Sky, ITV and the BBC. BTW have they used the pitch yet?! |

It beats the non-descript presenters on sky news, who mostly I can't name.

I like jake's excitement. Would people rather have a dead lump with no personality or a ***k-to-give for the job they're doing and the sport they're presenting?

I don't mind Adrian Chiles! But Jake is good - I haven't seen too much of him on BT yet but I caught a bit of Bayern v Man City and he looked assured doing the studio stuff.
Personality doesn't bother me, if they're dour or perky it's fine - someone who can hold the show together and ask a few decent questions is all I ask for |

Live football game studio tv screens
When there is a live football game on and they are talking in the studio about the game at the beginning and half time and end of game I wish they Would have a live shot on there big tv screens behind them of inside the ground so it looks as though they are in the studio at the ground and the football stadium ground is out side the studio
and show the players in the tunnel at the beginning of the game and at the end of the first half time and at the beginning of the second half and full time in side the tunnel |

Channels rarely tend to show the players in the tunnel AFTER the match. It has been done occasionally on Clem's reports on the Football League Show, but it's not a staple of match coverage. Think it's a good idea actually, even if you just see some arguments!

Looking forward to seeing some Rugby dressing room coverage post match.
It would be seriously ground breaking if BT and Sky could lobby the EPL and get them to do the same! |
