I realise you say "only online" later there but just to make sure everyone realises as well as "red button" via Sky TV every Sky CL game is available live and on demand via their Events Centre (which is included as part of the Sky Sports (via Sky only?) subscription.

Quickly put if BT don't make all CL games available via "red button" as well as live and on demand online then that's a step backward from the current position as offered by Sky (excluding the ITV game) but I believe Sky only offer all this to the Sky Sports subscribers who get Sky Sports directly from them on their own tv platform.
An improvement BT could make (which I might have made soon after the announcement myself) is to offer every game in HD (Sky's red button games not simultaneously shown on one of the Sky Sports channels are available in SD only). No idea how that would or could work for BT via the Sky platform, if they would want that how they could recoup what it would cost to set up for the minor CL games or how they would offer it to subscribers etc as there is apparently so many unknown aspects between then and now it would effectively just be vague ramblings. But what is stopping BT doing similar to Sky and offering
all games but
only via their own platform BT TV? I'm not saying they will do this but if they did would it be so outrageous? After all these would be the 12 CL group stage weeknights "lesser games" only - and it is what Sky do now.
Off topic I know but would anyone know if ITV will have their World Cup 2014 games (every game) available on demand via Sky - I assuming the BBC will as they have for other tournaments (eg that warm-up tournament the Confederations Cup in Brazil last summer) , would that be correct for World Cup also? both ITV and BBC World Cup games available on demand via Sky TV boxes?
