Agreed that's the approx figure but it's 2/3 of the total new TV customers gained by BT in Q4.

I can only see reference to the first generation boxes. Where does it say the second generation boxes are being replaced and Sky Sports removed?”
I could be wrong, time will tell.
I'm reading it as a service, not as a box. (BT mentions TV service, not box.)
1st generation TV service = BT Vision
2nd generation TV = YouView
The specific BT quote was "We will be closing our first generation TV service in the first quarter of 2014/15. We will exchange legacy set-top boxes for new YouView boxes and anticipate some impact on TV customer churn during this period." There is no reference to Sky Sports but I would not expect there to be one.
If I'm correct, this will be picked up in due course.
Aside from the service definition, other points that favour my interpretation are:
1. BT has already announced that it is replacing the silver boxes.
2. Why would there be TV customer churn if BT replaced the silver boxes? The users have no extra channels and get a better PVR. Whereas there might be some churn if the black boxes used to receive Sky Sports were replaced with YouView boxes unable to receive Sky Sports,
3. The reputable site Broadband TV News infers that it is all the entire BT Vision boxes as it describes the operating systems of both.

I could be wrong and I know people have wrongly predicted the end of the black BT Vision boxes before. But to me point 2 suggests this will now be happening.
