There is nothing on the BT Sport football listings page to indicate that they are. The only international they have listed is Germany v Argentina. Also, the digiguide listing for those two nights/early mornings show no signs of there being any potential gaps in the schedule that could be used for either game.

Thank you. I hope they decide to change and show them.

No mention of any 'free' weekends or free rugby games like last season yet - I'm guessing they will at some point...

Didn't take long for Owen to start talking about himself again and when he played.

Did I imagine it or did Ian Darke just call Paul Scholes 'Scholesy'?

You didn't imagine it.

Can someone translate Paul Scholes please?

Is it just me or does Scholes look scared everytime he is asked a question!

Owen was again atrocious.
One of his most biased commentaries to date IMHO!
Saying 'What a shot' about a Van Persie effort that he scuffed into the ground and deflected before being cleared off the line.... EH?!?!?!?!!!!!
The ONLY way he has a job still is because someone high up in the exe's at BT likes him...

Did make me laugh when he said "He strikes the ball so cleanly!" as a replay of him scuffing the ball into the ground was playing

He is utterly clueless.

I don't really see much wrong with that comment? I thought Owen's comment about getting a different view of top flight football from pitch level and having doubts about his capabilities was an interesting point.

Quite an entertaining game of football for another 0-0 on BT. Still, the expectation from United's fans on this game was huge.
£60 million Di Maria makes his debut.
United yet to win.
United are the biggest PL draw.
I'd expect sound average figures in the 700,000's.

BT are either doing the 'I am not listening' thing with Owen or have given him an ironclad contract where he'd have to do something really bad to be fired - otherwise there's no explanation for how he's still in that role. He's awful - genuinely awful.

And surely BT need to stop this nickname use at some point? It's utterly pointless - calling say Savage 'Sav' instead of Savage doesn't suddenly make me like him more (in fact it probably does the opposite) and adds nothing to their coverage - and it makes BT seem irritating and amateur.

Wow someone's not happy.
Savage is a decent pundit who does well on Fletch and Sav (although there are better for live football matches).
Speaking of the show, do we feel figures will have done today? Surely higher than last weeks 21,000?

Might be onto something there.
That ir he has support from a powerful exec who is overruling removing him from comms....

A shame we missed the first 11 minutes (and a goal) but pleased bt went to the Juve game live as soon as they could rather than show it on delay at 5.15

Anything less and they will be disappointed.

Looking further ahead, sorry, but I think their next big viewing figures will come from the Merseyside Derby on Sep 27th but I think Man Utd v Everton on Sunday the following week will be higher.

Needless to say Liverpool v Chelsea during early November should eclipse all of them.

Arsenal v Man City should get some good figures, 2 of last seasons top four.
QPR v Stoke is -- in all due respect -- the dud of the opening round of televised fixtures. I think BT will be expecting low figures and I think anything in the excess of 300,000 will be sound.
Agree the Merseyside derby will get big numbers, as will Man-Eve and Liv-Che.
New-Liv is a dark-horse for big viewing numbers with Newcastle having a very similar fan base number to Everton.
Man City v Spurs is a big game but is unlikely to get enormous viewing.
