Good game Ars-Mcy though, in comparison to the two 0-0's before it. I'd expect good figures given that Arsenal are 3rd/4th biggest draw in the league and City -- the Champions -- are 5th.
Certainly in the excess of 700,000 I'd expect. |

When the bt box appears in the bottom left hand corner of the tv screen and it is showing live stuff in it , it needs to be a lot bigger but when it is showing highlights in it , it needs to stay small like it is now

Good news, James Richardson will be presenting the Europa League coverage on Thursday along with the EFS pundits. Good sign for next season, hopefully.

Quite right to, he should of done this last season and with his vast knowledge of European football he should host the Europa Cup next season but saying that I thought Humphreys will host the Champion's League but that could be up for some debate now.

I wouldn't read anything into Richardson doing EL this season as far as next season is concerned.
BT doesn't have any English clubs in the EL. OK, I know they have Celtic but BT's EL ratings will be absolutely miniscule compared to their PL ratings. |

Seems they'll soon be launching BT Sport Extra (red button service, complete with customary terrible logo) - so hopefully on occasions like this they'll put the start of coverage behind the red button.
and lets hope VM get this red button.. |

I think they are looking for someone else to do there Champions League Coverage that's why they tried to get Gary Lineker
Steve Rider or Jim Rosenthal. But if they do get Gary Linekar they need to bring Alan Hansen in as a pundit |

In fact, the only football presenters currently on British TV who I would consider to fit into that category are Lineker, Chiles (although I think he only started fronting football when he went to ITV six or seven years ago), Stelling and Richardson. Instead, you've got a lot of what I would describe as casual football presenters a la Dan Walker and Matt Smith who are perfectly capable of fronting football but always seem to be something of an understudy presence when they do so, which means they lack the gravitas you'd really want from the main presenter of Europe's premier cup competition. |

The difficulty for BT Sport is that there are very few senior football presenters around for them to choose from, and by senior I mean presenters who have been fronting football coverage for, say, ten years or more and who have been the established face of football on the channel they work for during that period.
In fact, the only football presenters currently on British TV who I would consider to fit into that category are Lineker, Chiles (although I think he only started fronting football when he went to ITV six or seven years ago), Stelling and Richardson. Steve Rider Jim Rosenthal Manish Bhasin Mark Chapman Ray Stubbs Even Richard Keys They would all be quite capable of hosting |

I don't think he is making many friends at the moment that's for sure.

How do you think Portuguese Primeira Liga is doing on BT?
Vitória Guimarães (my team) v FC Porto picked today/yesterday. Anyone knows the figures? |
