PL Coverage: Jake Humphrey
FA Cup: Jake Humphrey
Scottish Football: Daryl Currie
Non-league: Mark Clemment
Champions League:
BTS1 (main game): James Richardson
BTS2 (second game): Paul Dempsey
BTS3 (Celtic/3rd game): Daryl Currie
Europa League:
BTS1 (main games): Jake Humphrey
BTS2 (2nd games): Lindsay Hipgrave
There is no way Humphreys would do Europa rather than Champon's League with Richardson being the main man.

I would say the closest to a cert would be Daryll Currie covering Scottish teams..

It looks like BT Sport Extra may be launching tomorrow, unless that's what they're also renaming their "online digital exclusive" stream to.

http://sport.bt.com/sportfootball/tv...11376627423099

Showing Friday 19 September: Bordeaux v Evian - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra)

Have BT changed their UFC on Demand rights, none of the last two events (including The Ultimate Fighter) have been added to the on Demand section in which they used to add the whole card after a day or two. Hope this isn't the case because not many watch the events live because of the time.

Best asking https://twitter.com/simonhead - he seems to be the "UFC guy" at BT.

I suspect it is more likely the latter - as I don't see any reference to the channel on the website. Would be good if they added anoher channel, mind you!

It's part of the package, it's inclusive not free so I would expect VM customers to get it too, probably as a red button service. But there's always a possibility it will launch on VM after the other platforms.

Richardson for the CL coverage next year. Excellent in his Europa League role so far only 15 minutes in and also like the idea of a pitch-side presenter and pundit so that coverage can switch between studio and pitch side.

Thanks for the link to the BT Sport Extra page - on Sky when this is a red button option will it appear on BT Sport 1 as a red button?

Can one record this onto the Sky + planner à la Champions League for instance?

I tried yesterday and the Bordeaux-Evian game didn't come up just either Partick Thistle-Motherwell or Gloucester-Exter on the 2 current channels.

Completely agree. Richardson is terrific. I'd like to see them use the split between studio and pitch side regularly. Humphrey seems to like being pitch side, so let him do that, with someone else hosting from the studio. Doing everything pitch- side looks cheap to me . It's open to being affected by things such as sprinklers and public address announcements.

I do like Currie as a presenter. He is a safe pair of hands. I'd be happy for him to be used for more than just the Scottish games.

Danny Higginbotham is being used as a pitch-side pundit for the game at QPR tomorrow, as well as being on Fletch & Sav. I've heard him do quite a few co-comms on the European leagues that BT have, and been very impressed. He provides good tactical insight and has a decent sounding voice.
I'd be delighted if he replaced Michael Owen as BT's main co-comm.

I hope you're wrong about that. As far as BT Sport's marketing is concerned, it does seem to be very much a case of the tail wagging the dog.

By and large the best managers in football were never great players. I don't see why it should be any different with pundits/ co-comms . Sadly it appears to be very much a case of 'put your medals on the table'.

I see they've slightly improved the logo from the original that was floating around (although not by much).

Will keep an eye out and see if this pops up as a red button service on Sky tonight for the Ligue 1 game.

Thanks, couldn't find anything stating that on the page above, it just mentions the online stream. I wish BT would keep information consistent across their platforms...
