OCD?

Why can't they work it out for themselves? Rather than getting someone else to do the work for them?

Seriously what is your problem? if nothing else use our computer/lap top to find out what info you need and stop taking the p..s out of everyone and trying to ruin what is an excellent thread of discussion.

You clearly have no interest in BT Sport apart from using the name to try and get on peoples nerves.

With regard to the Crazy Gang documentary - should read this from Terry Gibson (http://www.terrygibson.london/#!Craz...E-D4094277F586)

Thankfully, the mods on his other thread asking the same question was locked.

Can we please get this thread back on topic before this too gets locked?

Anyone watch the Crazy Gang doc last night?
Liking that BT don't censor content like Sky does. Crazy Gang would have had bleeps all over the place! (Only saw a few minutes, got it to watch in full yet!)

BT look like idiots on this documentary. Many former Wimbledon players are saying that a lot of what Fashanu said was wrong.

Sounds like a sensationalist show. Rubbish

Why do BT make this crap?

It is the Daily Mail but Dave Bassett has also raised concerns about the documentary: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...e-Bassett.html

Adam Darke (Ian's son and formerly of Channel 5 football and Channel 4 cricket fame) makes BT Sport's documentaries. He's had a pop back at some of the criticism on his Twitter - well worth a read (look at the replies, too): https://twitter.com/adarkelimited

Oh, sure, but worth looking at the documentary maker's defence if you are to dismiss it as "sensationalist crap", no?

Real classic from Owen today...."So Pochettino will be the happier of the two managers as we head to half time" says Darke.
Without doubt Says Owen, they have kept Utd at bay and defended well enough so yes Van Gaal will be the happier of the two managers

You have to love him

BT's figures well down on last year particularly the 5.15 game but I think they will be relatively pleased with yesterdays numbers considering it was at midday.

I think Sky will be more than happy with the Boxing Day numbers at 12.30.

Worth noting that all the programmes (both Sky and BT) had very short intros which means the programme averages have actually been boosted compared to a normal weekend.

eg Stick an hour's intro in front of Sky's Sun 2pm game and that rating above of 1.07m would have been approx 800k to 850k.

Which implies that all 6 ratings are actually pretty poor.

BTs 5:15 game last year was City-Liverpool though, which is a bit more attractive than Arsenal-QPR.

Thanks for posting that. I was thinking of tracking the documentary down and watching it tonight, despite the bad reports I've seen of it in the press, but reading Terry's views on the programme (who was very positive about it when I heard him speak about it on the radio prior to the private screening) has changed my mind.

I was mainly going to watch it because of Bobby Gould's involvement in it - a personality I really like and someone who never fails to entertain and amuse me on the weekly radio show he co-presents. Having a read before Christmas that Dave Bassett initially withdrew his support for the documentary as he felt Gould was going to feature to heavily, it is really disappointing to hear that Gibbo feels he only received "minimal editing" in the final cut.

I've always liked Adam Darke's work in the past - many of his BT Sport Films efforts have been very well received, particularly the one about the journeyman boxer, and he was always very good on things like Channel 4 cricket and Channel 5's Football Night - so I'm disappointed that the response to this programme has generally been negative with many of Jones/Fashanu's claims being challenged. But unless anyone can convince me otherwise, I think I'll give it a miss and give the excellent Marvellous another watch instead.

Why not watch it yourself and make your own mind up?

I've been disappointed by the reviews it has received - even the positive one in The Daily Telegraph flagged up how it chiefly revolves around Jones and Fashanu telling tall tales. That has put me off watching it to be honest, I had been hoping for something a bit more rounded featuring the likes of Bobby Gould and Terry Gibson with more focus on the football than the "antics".

That being said, I may give it a watch seeing as it's freely available on demand on the BT Sport website here - http://sport.bt.com/video-0136381440...=3959398844001. As I only have access to the BT Sport channels online, this is useful as I probably wouldn't make a point of sitting down and catching a re-run as it is broadcast.

Seeing as you've asked the question, did you watch the documentary, and if so, what did you think of it?

The on screen promotions and BT box are being ridiculously over done today.

They need to tone these down.
