1 FA Cup Sun 15.15 860

2 Premier League Wed 756

3 Premier League Tue 444

4 FA Cup Sat 12.00 389

Very good figures again for their Sun game but what awful figures for their Free to Air or Bradford v Reading.....and people wondered why BBC didn't choose this game.

Chelsea v Everton did pretty well aswell.
I don't think BT's FTA offer was that great given that the match was shown FTA on pay TV platforms where interested viewers could have subscribed to the BT Sport channels anyway; it's not as if they're new and unknown now. It was more of a PR move by BT.

Very low figures if I remember rightly, I think the average over the series was around 37k?

To be fair at times she did have decent guests and at times was very entertaining.

Shame really, deserved more in my opinion. Was a well produced show and very interesting too.

Maybe if they plaster advertising for it all over the live games it might help

I liked it, but missed it more often than not. I think being on a mainstream channel (even an edited down version) will get a lot more interest, and ultimately lead to extra viewers tuning into the first showing on BT Sport.

Setting up my series link for moto gp and I noticed that on sunday, that it is on the bt extra channel. That annoyed me until I went further through the epg and noticed the race is on the hd channel. Just the warm up on the sd bt extra channel

Also indy cars start next weekend and I am noticing that they are showing some live ice hockey on mon 00.30am. The ncaa west regional final, the winner advances to the final. Funny thing is that the ice hockey has series link but the indy cars dont

I have quite a lot of sport next weekend,

England v Lithuania - stv hd
F1 - bbc hd
Moto gp
v8 supercars
Indy cars
Ice hockey
Brazil v chile - stv hd, international friendly from the emirates

Any idea why 6 matches of this weekend Serie A round where played at Sunday 19:45 instead of 14:00?

I believe the Easter weekend will see some time changes as is often the case with the football from Serie A...I noted a few weeks back there were some changes with timings as I set a manual record on BT for the Verona-Juve game from Sat evening and it started at 20.00 instead of the usual 19.45 for no obvious reason...

This was mentioned on the Euro Football show..
Because of all of the teams involved in Europa League action matches had to be moved back to Sunday from Saturday; but normally matches would be played on a Monday. The International window started today which forbids top flight football on the Monday, hence why all the matches played on the Sunday.
The Italy v Wales 6 Nations match too would have seen a match moved back a day too.

BT TV restructures. Alex Green, the head of BT TV will leave. Also, there will be a big push in the summer with the launch of a 4K box and new bundles with mobile services. Champions League coverage will be charged for and pubs heavily marketed to.

Hope that also means a change in pundits as well.

Wonder how long it will be before a price is announced for for their Champion's League coverage.

I'm sure a few things will change in the summer with BT TV MD Delia Bushell looking to put her stamp on things.

Hopefully next on her list is the stupid gimmicks used in the football coverage and the scorebar & logo moved to the top of the bloody screen!

Not quite sure how but BT "The Crazy Gang" won best documentary at British Sports Journalism awards.

All the plugging over Christmas obviously paid dividends.

Well if the English teams continue to perform badly in the European competitions, the CL is going to be an expensive flop for BT especially when you consider that the group stage is nothing more than a procession for the big teams and the SFs and Final will be FTA.

I wonder if semis and finals are free to air then sky might advertise this? Say 116 prem games exclusively on sky sports, and champions league group stages, semis and final free to air on sky (or something similar).

Could stem loss of subscribers

Today it's finally happened. I did say a couple of months ago that since I switched to talktalk I was getting free BT sport basically on sky.................not now. They cut the signal today for both SD/HD although last I looked my dad's was still working. No great loss to me

I doubt it. Sky doesn't currently advertise all the FTA sport on BBC, ITV etc. And they couldn't say the CL was on Sky in the sense of a Sky channel. OK it will be FTA on the Sky platform but then so is all BBC and ITV sport. And I can't imagine they would want to refer specifically to BT Sport.

I think Sky will just have to put on a brave face and get on with it. I don't expect the loss of CL to lead to a big increase in cancellations - and Sky's recently announced price rises suggest they are in a fairly bullish mood.

I thought sky advertised world cup football in hd?

I don't think they will but if sky don't want people switching to bt or subscribing to them, telling people a game per group stage per team and sf and final are fta would deter quite a few people from switching or subscribing I'd have thought.
