Going by the Conference twitter replies, it seems like the three teams involved in the title race declined the opportunity to be broadcast live this weekend.

As it is, there is still so much to play for in the entire league that the game BT were allowed to choose is still very much on.

325,000 for Swansea vs Everton, reports Broadcast.

Mental. Why would clubs turn down TV coverage? They're lucky to have the quantity/quality that BT provide. They shouldn't have the choice IMO

Because that would force them into an earlier timeslot and give the other two teams in the hunt (kicking off later on) the advantage by knowing what they had to do.

Agree seems a strange TV deal where I presume the home clubs can refuse being picked for broadcast. Obviously they think impact of possibly switch in kick off time and lost gate revenue if on TV out weigh the live TV hosting fee BT pay.

Yes maybe kicking off later could have meant they would be more willing to accept. I'm assuming a match from next week is on as all games kickoff at 5.45?

That happens in the FL and PL every week though and no one refuses to be on TV. It shouldn't be allowed.

Seems like bt sport have started the champions league promo (albeit short promos) today during the Liverpool/Aston villa fa cup match. Do that mean they have finalised their plan for champions league coverage.

What did they say? I missed it.

If it's just "The Champions League is on BT Sport next season" then it still gives them room to decide their plans. If it's "will be on BT Sport 1 and 2" that's different.

There are far smaller margins in the Conference than there are in the Football League, I can't imagine the broadcast fee in the Conference is very much and the attendances are so low at a lot of the clubs that there is a real difference if a couple of hundred fans decide to watch on TV instead, which the fee can't cover.

'champions are coming - bt sport' it reads. What's interesting about it is that it is in the 'champions league font and graphics'

It's obviously designed to look like the Champions League but pretty sure it's not central UEFA styles in use...

Yes one final day match will be on BT Sport 2. They're all 5.15 kick offs on Saturday. I would imagine Barnet v Gateshead will be the chosen one given the title is in their hands. It's a shame they can't show a second match as Bristol Rovers v Alfreton is key to both ends. They will be able to show the goals as they go in though and send a reporter down there so we won't be missing out. I wonder if Clem will be hosting though given his BBC commitments. Would be a shame to see him miss out on a very big day.

BT Sport 3 set to launch soon, to little surprise, too but keep that under wraps

Do you have a source you can share? (I'm guessing not from the 'keep it under wraps' bit, but worth a try!)

Also I assume this is a 4th channel and in addition to ESPN, rather than replacing it, given the deal BT/ESPN signed recently. Hopefully it'll be in HD unlike BTS Extra.

Any one with any figures for yesterday's Cup semi or is it to early?

Reports are that it easily beat Super Sunday so will be interesting.

I have noticed a BT showcase channel appear on my SMART freeview TV channel 75. I take it this will be how they transmit the free Champions League games and other free stuff over a wider audience?

Man City v West Ham (From 12:30) 627,000
Aston Villa v Liverpool (From 14:00) 627,000
Newcastle v Tottenham (From 15:30) 604,000

A tie between the first of the SS games and BT's FA Cup match according to ITV Media is very interesting.

Chelsea v Man United got 1.1 million for Sky.

Where are you finding the viewing figures on the ITV Media site because i can't find them after it was revamped!

Not bad figure for BT IMHO.
